⚠️ WARNING TO INDIAN BUYERS: Do Not Buy XGIMI Products

Warning!!! Indians... I previously posted about my XGIMI Horizon Pro 4K projector dying after just two years. I am writing this update because XGIMI is not just a brand with terrible service—they are actively deceptive and completely disregard their Indian customers.After my review went live, they panicked and asked me to delete it, promising to fix the device. Wanting my expensive projector working again, I agreed. I made it crystal clear that I was ready to pay whatever it cost for an out-of-warranty repair.What followed was one full year of wasted time and false hope. After holding my projector for 8 months claiming it needed to go to China for spare parts, they returned it to me completely untouched with a simple note: "It cannot be fixed."Let that sink in. A brand selling "premium" electronics for nearly ₹2 Lakhs cannot even repair its own flagship device. Their strategy is to silence negative reviews, waste a year of your life, and eventually just give up.Take your Indian customers seriously, or stop selling here. To everyone else: Avoid XGIMI at all costs.

Don't Believe the Hype

No really, don't believe the hype!Despite extensive research, reviews and You Tube (possibly paid reviews) I am very disappointed.Not so much disapointed with the unit since I managed to buy it on offer, still not cheap at £499 but on a par with the nearest competitor (Nebula Capsule 3 Laser). My problem is with the hype, inaccurate listing and functionality data.Confirmed post purchase by XGIMI customer support, the Auto Keystone needs to be used with the unit almost square on and the screen (if using one) should have wide black borders. Without this there is an 'always', requirement to manually fine tune. To be clear, my unit was stable on a table, set no more than 30 degrees off centre right and no more than 10 degrees down from centre.There's no calibration image as with the Capsule 3 but the Mogo4 does it somehow without this and so long as the above factors are followed does make a decent job of it. However... and it's a big However, it does not have auto object avoidance, a function that is clearly stated on the Amazon listing and elsewhere stated during my research. For me both the keystone and object avoidance were major deciding factors between this and the Capsule 3.All that said I have decided to keep the unit since I am happy with the picture quality and the brightness. I can't be bothered to send it back only to find the Capsule 3 is not so bright (as stats may suggest). After all after it's set up it's the watching that counts.Finally, don't expect too much from the speakers, you'll certainly need a decent additional speaker. Probably from Anker who ironically make the capsule 3.So overall...Disappointed with the inaccurate published specifications, functionality of the keystone function and sound.Happy with the watching bit so long as it's through a decent speaker.Happy with the lens protection when not in use and ability to stand and tilt without an additional tri-pod. The filters are a gimmick extra that could have been left out optional and reduce the price.The unit would get a 3 star but for the Inaccurate sales listings (reported to Amazon) and keystone functionality data. Shame on XGIMI and Amazon for allowing this.

Not only is the Horizion cheaply made…

Not only is the Horizion cheaply made it should be considered disposable. They quoted $300.00 to fix a white balance issue on $550.00 projector that is used for 3 meetings in a year that are 4 hours each. It didn't even work past the second one. Entire picture is red or pink.do yourself and get a reliable projector from reputable company. We used our backup $279.00 Epson projector and it worked great at 7 years old. Total junk.

Sluggish process

Actually, It's 5***** Stars for Kyra and I'm giving XGIMI 2 stars on Trust Pilot just because of her attentive support (otherwise I'd give it 1 or 0 stars if I could).I purchased the Halo + (New) and canceled the purchase 1 hour later, being that Kyra immediately answered assuring me they'd cancel the purchase and process the refund - 24 hours later I got an e-mail saying that the item had been shipped. I received the projector 4/5 working days after the confirmation, and since I was asked to pick it up in order to be able to send it back (which shouldn't be needed), I decided to try the projector. The unit was defective and the best resolution was 420p at best (I tested multiple inputs: HDMI, screen mirroring and Youtube's native app, pre-installed on the projector).The purchase was made on the 28th of January and the whole process lasted until today, the 2nd of March (basically, 1 month)I give KUDOS to Kyra for being attentive and professional, but the whole process - between canceling the order, having to pick up the unit in order to send it back, and the defective issue - was a pain in the ass, and for this I can't really recommend XGIMI products to anyone.If I can suggest an alternative, I ended up buying an EPSON EF-21 Mini on Amazon and I'm very happy with my purchase now.

Poor Build Quality - I have owned and used the Mogo 2 Pro…

I have owned and used the Mogo 2 Pro projector for two years. While the design and feature set look appealing on paper, the build quality is simply not good enough for a product at this price point. The hardware has failed just outside the two-year warranty period, and the damage is clearly visible. A core component like the USB-C port should not break under normal use.Another frustration is streaming compatibility. Although apps like Netflix appear available, the device does not work properly with several major streaming services in practice. For a projector marketed as smart and modern, this is a serious limitation.When I contacted support, the experience was equally disappointing. Rather than offering a meaningful repair solution or standing behind the product quality, I was given the runaround and ultimately offered only a small discount toward buying another unit. That is not a real solution especially when the concern is durability.At this price level, it is absolutely possible to buy better-built alternatives. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend choosing a different brand with stronger hardware quality and more responsible customer support.

Excellent customer service

Have to say I don’t know where these negative experiences come from, bought the Mogo 3 collection bundle, was delivered the very next day, had a question about compatible chargers and received an answer the same day, customer service is fantastic (has been for me anyhoo) and whole experience has been faultless, looking forward to watching some movies in my campervan 🥳

On XGIMI Mogo 4 Laser

On XGIMI Mogo 4 Laser, the ESPN app is unwatchable. It stutters every single second. I updated it. I uninstalled and reinstalled. No difference. I worked with XGIMI for three months, and they still can't solve this. Removing three stars for this. It seems that the processor can't handle ESPN or live TV in general. Either way, it's a major app in the United States, and this could be a dealbreaker for some. Others have reported issues with live TV as well, and XGIMI hasn't worked to deliver a single update. I first contacted them September 23 about this. Amazingly, they told me it was ESPN's fault, but yet the lower-powered and lower-priced XGIMI Vibe One projector plays ESPN without issues! This is a sign of poor customer service, not listening to customer complaints, not addressing issues and even deflecting blame to ESPN. Also, I'm trying to watch the Winter Olympics on the NBC Sports app, and this stutters, too. At this point, I'm going to sell this piece of junk. This company also released its pricey Horizon 20 lineup with broken functionality. Reviews are poor resultingly. People expect finished products upon release. XGIMI seems to be more interested in shipping and NOT finishing products. It is doubtful I would continue to buy XGIMI projectors because of widespread issues with this company. AWOL Vision, Valerion, Hisense and JMGO are major competitors. I have deleted all nice things previously said about this projector because it's been a bust. One star performance and one star to support!

Ordered a high-value item

Ordered a high-value item, it wasn't delivery to me, after support told me go to Police and submit a police report, I do this, send a police report to support Evelyn and she said me that she can't verified a police report, and answered 1 time in 4 days with copy-paste, terrible shop and terrible experience, they stole my 1100 pounds!

XGIMI - extremely disappointing experience

XGIMI — extremely disappointing experienceI have been waiting for my order for almost a month.The order was supposed to be delivered to Portugal.Order number: EU12769.As of now, I still have not received my order.The service is terrible. Customer support replies once every 2–3 days, and their responses are completely useless — no clear information, no real help, and no action taken to resolve the issue. It feels like support exists only for show and does absolutely nothing.My overall experience with XGIMI has been extremely negative. Missed delivery timelines, lack of proper communication, and total disregard for the customer result in a very poor customer experience.I am extremely disappointed. For a brand at this level, I expected a completely different standard of service.Until this situation is resolved, I cannot recommend XGIMI.

Order EU11199 was ordered 16 days ago, from Germany to Netherlands, but no clue where it is now.Contact with support is very limited to them sending short replies saying that there is something unusual about the package and that the logistics department is investigating. But no actual information.
