I purchased a scale ($140) that requires use of their app. Despite their terrible privacy policy, I downloaded their app. Somewhere in all of this, they signed me up for Withings+ and just charged me $99 for it. I never would have knowingly agreed to this. They just stole $99 from me by finding legal loopholes to be able to do it. I will never purchase anything from them ever again.

I purchased a Withings scale online from Costco UK, for my son who is training hard to run the Manchester Marathon in April 2026, in aid of the Brain Tumour Research Fund charity.After a few days, one of the carpet feet of the scale broke. As I was the one who purchased the item, I made contact with Withings, via their online chat, which initially turned out to be an AI bot.After a couple of days, I eventually managed to make contact with "EJ" and explained that I needed a replacement carpet foot. They asked me to respond using the email for the account where the app is registered. I explained that it was my son who had registered the app and I gave them his email. I explained that I did not have his password for the app, however, it was purchased by me. I also supplied the purchase invoice as an attachment to take response. Finally, I explained that my son was on holiday, training in warmer weather, as the date of the marathon drew closer. A couple of days later "EJ" responded and declined to assist me, insisting that my son would have to make contact with them by that email, on his return,whereupon a carpet foot would be sent out.I told them that this was completely bureaucratic and it was I who was the consumer. I advised "EJ" that if he further declined to provide a carpet foot, I would simply return the item to Costco and buy a Eufy scale, instead."EJ" replied the next day saying that he wasn't prepared to send one out, unless he received a request from my son.When my son did arrive home a few days later, I asked him to make contact with "EJ" to fulfill his nonsense request. He did so.This morning, I received a message (not my son), from "EJ" who thanked me for contacting him. His message stated:"I appreciate your cooperation. Upon further checking, we are currently out of stock of the carpet feet. Kindly check with us from time to time to see if any stock becomes available."What an infuriating message to receive. This company is hopeless and it also looks like they enjoy taking the p*ss out of their customers.Be assured that the scales are being returned to Costco today and I'm done with this company.

I have purchased the scanwatch. While I enjoyed the watch itself, the watch cover came off. I asked customer service for repair and they were unable to source. As the watch was outside of the warranty window, they refused providing replacement and instead suggested a 30% on replacement of the same watch. Given I had the watch for less than a few years, it was very disappointing to be pushed towards purchasing replacement (albeit at discount). I would not recommend purchasing their products given the experience with the quality of the product.

I had an excellent experience with Withings customer support.My Body Scan scales developed a hardware issue, but as the product was still within the warranty period, the process was handled quickly and without any friction. The team were responsive, clear, and efficient throughout.A replacement set of scales was delivered within just 5 days of reporting the issue, which exceeded my expectations.It’s reassuring to see a company stand fully behind its product and honour its warranty so seamlessly. A great example of how customer service should be done.

So many PWV errors, body composition errors, heart monitor inconclusive. It is really annoying. They’ll tell you it’s because you are not standing with your feet properly positioned or you’re not holding the bar correctly. I can read and follow instructions. Sometimes the reading works sometimes it doesn’t. What changed? Nothing!! Time to change company.
