Urgent: Weeks without access to funds while travelling
I am writing this review in the hope that someone at Wise can urgently review my case.I have been a Wise customer for several years without issue. However, on 11 March my account was suddenly restricted and I was asked to provide verification documents.I fully cooperated and submitted everything requested, including detailed proof of source of funds across multiple accounts. Despite this, the process took weeks, during which I had no access to my funds.I am currently travelling, and this has placed me in an extremely difficult situation as I rely on this account for daily expenses. Having over £23,000 inaccessible for this length of time has caused significant stress and disruption.After providing all requested documents and being informed that nothing further was required, my account was then restricted and scheduled for closure.I would urgently ask Wise to:Review my caseConfirm how my funds will be releasedProvide a clear timeline for resolutionI have cooperated fully throughout and would appreciate this being treated with urgency.
