Working with Jeremy was an outstanding experience from start to finish. He was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me find the right solution for a high-demand WooCommerce setup. Instead of giving generic advice, he took the time to understand my specific use case and provided a clear, well-structured recommendation that made a complex infrastructure decision feel manageable.What really stood out was how thorough and practical his guidance was. He didn’t just point me in a direction. He broke everything down step-by-step, provided relevant documentation, and ensured I had the resources needed to move quickly and confidently. His recommendation of using a PCI instance with Managed MySQL and Valkey ended up being exactly what I needed, and the performance during testing exceeded expectations.Jeremy was also great to work with on a personal level, professional, easy to communicate with, and clearly experienced in this space. A terribly deluded company
POV: You hire an #antifraud specialist for your business. They then ask your customers to send you images of their credit cards over the internet. Would you be even slightly concerned about your decision to hire them?OVHcloud aren't.The irony isn't lost with them, when you employ an #antifraud team who ask people to put their personal data at risk.This is one seriously deluded company:This was the information they wanted from me (directly quoted from the email received):A government-issued photo ID,A picture of the credit card used in the transaction including, the name matching the listed name in the Manager account, ANDThe last 4 digits of the card number,A photo of yourself holding the government-issued Photo ID provided above.This is the information they wanted from me. An image of my credit cardThey wanted an actual image of my credit card,Did they not get the memo that this is 2026 &there are services that deal with verification. Even if I were stupid enough to send an image of my credit card, it's a virtual one - which they should realise that virtual cards now exist - because its 2026, not 1956.What planet are these people living on? Because it's certainly not this one...Response:“….we have to be extremely rigorous in preventing fraud…” - sure because sending pictures of your credit card is really going to help prevent fraud 🤦♂️Followed - of course - by the “feedback”spiel. It does make you wonder where this outfit gets their employees from if they can actually write something so moronic as what Megan wrote & still keep a straight face.

cheap boxes but if u are anything other than expert GOOD LUCK trying to figure this shit out. u guys realize AI is a thing and u can give a few prompts to claude or something and be like "add some tool tips here that explain what all this crap does".oh and guess what, AI can also offer support, like live support. guess they're too busy sending IDs to the government and playing games on steam. if the prices weren't cheap I'd go elsewehre, oh speaking of which Hetzner is basically the same price with a better interface. welp guess they don't really want my money.

I am a long time customer of OVH US but…
I am a long time customer of OVH US but am very disappointed after I purchases a SYS-1 dedicated machine only for the order to sit in validation for A WHOLE WEEK. I opened two separate support tickets but have been 100% ghosted. This is such a waste of time and every day I go without this machine is customers I am turning down. I expect better from a company that I have used for so long.

Very over subscribed New York VPS
Very over subscribed New York VPS. Steal is typically hovering between 20 and 50% and ping spikes above 500ms. They have not fixed it after 8 days and I've lost hope that they will. It's very clearly happening at the last hop to the server.Update 10th Feb:Support have told me they are unable to migrate my VPS to a new host. What is most shocking about that is that they are still selling VPS in that localzone

Reliable service, well priced and good DDOS protection.
I have been with OVH for since early 2021 and initially the experience was very rough, issues with support and network related issues due to false flags with DDOS protection. We were very close to switching providers at this stage as I was getting bounced around support with no real progress. James MacKenzie went out of his way to reach out to me and offered his assistance. He escalated internally and got the issues resolved for me and this changed my views on OVH and I have since being a loyal customer.Their VPS ranges are affordable and dedicated server range is well priced and reliable and the GAME range offers good DDOS protection against large scale attacks.I would definitely recommend OVH to anyone looking to host game servers or web servers.

The bare metal server solution at OVH…
The bare metal server solution at OVH is solid. Plenty of flexible options with good pricing. The automated order/delivery process is efficient. The vRack feature is very welcomed and so is the edge firewall.
