Ulta customer service is absolutely…

Ulta customer service is absolutely horrible. I will never shop with them again! I will never recommend them or their products to anyone. I will find it at wonderful stores like Sephora or Nordstrom. Always rude workers that are to busy to help you and way over priced for the quality of most products!

Worst EVER hair salon experience

Worst EVER hair salon experience! Waited 2 years to color and they did exactly opposite of what I showed them AND severe burn on ear from careless bleach left on for 4 hours!! Management AND headquarters acted like they gave a shit and no followup except 1 person named "Thornton" who called once and never responded to a hello, but sent email directly afterwards saying he tried to call multiple times (liar) and never bothered to respond to email. Fried my hair, severely burned ear, failure on EVERY level to rectify....never shop here again and will pass message on!!!.

Was my birth day they asked me to go…

Was my birth day they asked me to go get my email since was not linked to my account i got the email and went back to santa maria location and they said they were out of gifts and could not give me samples and as im leaving i heard them laughing like wtf did i do something wrong just load of crap .they are misleading about ads and birthday gift and this is third time they ve done this .

Why does Ulta suck so bad

Why does Ulta suck so bad? Let me count the ways: 1) Glitchy website2) Comenity Bank Is the worst. Don’t call them because they won’t help you if they ever come to the phone 3) Inconsistent customer service. Their training must be 10 minutes longGo anywhere but Ulta UNLESS you are going to rip them off for wasting your time and energy. In that case, get yourself a free curling iron.

I had two separate calls and they hung up

I had two separate calls and they hung up on me twice. I can’t get my rewards number and can’t sign up because i already have my email attached. They told me I don’t have an account and when I tried to explain why I can’t sign up for a new one, the first call just hung up on me when I was explaining what happened and the second acted like they could help put me on hold for 8 minutes and then hung up. I’ve payed so much money there and would like points but the customer service agents are useless. Don’t even want to buy from ulta anymore and probably wont.

Madelyn M is an amazing colorist!

Madelyn M has worked on my color to remove the black color I was given by a previous colorist and she is FANTASTIC! My hair color after only two treatments, has given me so many compliments. It’s healthy and gorgeous. Madelyn is very personable and extremely talented as a hair stylist and her natural ability to stop & listen to the customer and produce the color you want, is refreshing. She has made a long-time customer every 6 weeks. If you’ve had a bad experience at Ulta, please do yourself a favor & book with Madelyn M-you won’t regret it!

Online system and customer service are horrible

Their online order system and online customer service are the WORST. I spent a hour and a half (!) today and still couldn't place what should have been a 2 minute order because their online system kept refusing to accept credit card CVV codes that were accurate (don't you just love it when they point the finger at you first?). Their customer 'service' wasn't; they suggested wasting more time talking to the bank to ensure the billing address is correct. I have no problem anywhere else. I finally got a $10.00 coupon code on the second call (the first person refused to give me one) for my time. The system still isn't working. An hour and a half wasted. Will spend my money elsewhere.

Mascara or opioids

I understand that you want the online orders to be picked up by the person that made the order. However: I am older, parked in an handicap spot, limping visibly after extensive surgery. I went into the store -Plattsburgh-and the clerk would not release the order to me, regardless of showing her my order on MY phone. She wanted a picture id or no order. A mascara order- and pick up, was as intense as buying opioids.Could do better, Ulta. Especially with your injured seniors.

Surprisingly Disorganized and Technologically Behind

My Ulta account was hacked in December 2025. Luckily, I was able to catch it, but the person managed to sign into my account and use my points to make a purchase. After reaching out to Ulta, we were able to resolve the issue. However, now I am unable to make future purchases and get an error saying my card information is incorrect, even though it isn't. It's clear that my access to make purchases has been locked. When speaking to customer support, two agents kept mentioning deleting my bag after sharing my bag ID, but that didn't resolve anything. I spoke with a rep who was nice; he unofficially said it would likely be easier for me to make in-person purchases than online, since the errors I raised probably flag my account. It's safe to say that this is frustrating.
