POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES BY UBER
I downloaded the App, and took two rides. Later, I found they were charging me $9.99/month for "membership". I did not sign up for this. Further, the telephone number on my credit card statement to call uber only yielded one ad after another. Garbage way to do business.

I have been very happy with Uber… until my scam of a $172 ride
I have been very happy with Uber experiences in the USA and in foreign countries up until my last ride. It was a normal request -- from the airport to home. One I've taken many times before, normally for around $55. I put a request in for a ride home; when the driver arrived 15 minutes later he said the address to go to wasn't there, had me put it in again. At that point, there's no visual confirmation of rate. Imagine my irritation to find out that Uber had charged $162 for that same ride, one way!!! Normally $56. There's some funny business there. Having credit company deal with them because there IS NO customer service phone call and the bots do nothing. Say the charge is correct.

If i could give this 0 stars i would. Absolutely awful service, no matter if its a taxi or a food delivery you can guarantee that the estimated time is a complete lie, ive been thinking of closing my account for a while and after my most recent experience ( my delivery took over 1 hour after being told around 35 mins). Just no need for misleading customers.

SCAMMERS THAT TAKE. ONEY FROM YOUR BANK
This has happened multiple times now being charged on uber eats for food I've not even ordered. Taxis I've not even taken. Terrible app. Got my money back from my bank!! Will never use again

Today I payed for uber and to be fair I got it at 6:50am.And just like anyone else would, I got prepare for the day and was ready for my ride.when my driver arrived I got in and he said that my ride was canceled so now I’m late to work and I’m mostly gonna get written up! So on Ubers end please fix your system.

I’ve used Uber several Times for short trips around the city, and most of my experiences have been smooth.drivers usually arrive on time , and the app makes it easy to track the ride . one trip had a slightly higher fare than expected , but overall the service is convenient and reliable for everyday transportation

No matching prices between the app and the ride
Uber does NOT supervise anymore that drivers respect the prices displayed on the app once you book a ride. The prices displayed on the their site are competitive enough to allure clients, who unfortunately end up paying more then the promised price! It happened in many countries I visited (Egypt, where drivers ask you extra cash on top of the ride fare, in Italy, in Germany). I reported every single episode and NO action was taken on by behalf, the customer is NOT AT ALL protected by Uber, they just don't care at all. I will no longer trust this company nor their displayed prices once you book a trip.
