Less than $8 for 5 items?????
I admit that I might have been able to get an estimate of the value of the items that I sent to Thredup, but I still don't see how. I sent 9 items in, they donated 4 and listed 5. One was from Chico's one had never been worn. They offered me less than $8 for all of it. I asked them to mail it back to me, that I would pay for shipping, but they just ignored me. I feel like they have stolen from me at this point, I want the stuff more than I want $8. Scammy

DON'T SELL ON THREAD UP
Selling on thread up is a total disaster. I sent two full bags of good, decent clothes expecting some $. I don't actually know how much sold, but what was reported to me was very small and it was "paid" as "credits". Maybe I missed the fine print, but I would have been far better off finding a local reseller or even donating. One item didn't sell and I got an email if I wanted it back. I said sure, then got the pop-up that I would have to pay for the garment, plus handling, plus shipping. You have got to be kidding. WARNING - DON'T GO THERE.

I’ve ordered 3 times and they never…
I’ve ordered 3 times and they never send the right clothing. I’m starting to think they post fake pictures and sell different products. They only refund you their erroneous orders after you return the product. Plus- I sent in 14 articles of luxury clothing, sold 1 item for $0.37 , they took a 14 fee then sent me an email saying I needed to buy the items back or they would recycle them. Just to find out that my “disposed clothing” was still up for sale. After this, I’m filing a complaint with the attorney general as well as an audit request with the department of revenue. This is the most dishonest company I’ve ever been a “customer” of. No clue how they still have a business to operate.

Mostly positive experience
I placed 4 orders with ThredUp. The first order never arrived and I tracked it through the shipping company and ThredUp. Chatted with customer service at both places a few times and learned the package was damaged and being returned. I was charged and never credited, even though the clothes I ordered were listed as for sale again after a few weeks, so I know they were received back by ThredUp. Not cool. Finally got my money back by going directly to my bank. Happily, the next three orders went much more smoothly and arrived nicely packaged. One item was sub par condition while all others were as great as advertised. I wanted to return a few items that did not fit well but it wasn’t worth the cost vs. the great price I paid so my nieces will benefit from those things. All in all I am very happy with the quality and condition for the prices and am looking forward to sporting these clothes.

Be very careful about keeping track of…
Be very careful about keeping track of the items you send and the condition they are in. The people who evaluate the clothing are questionable. Brand new items with tags in perfect condition were considered unsellable and will be recycled. When questioned, customer service said they found flaws. These flaws were only found with new items and the used ones were sold for very small amounts.

I received the bag some time ago
I received the bag some time ago I have not used it. I began to separate the items today 3/25/26. I began reading the experience from other clients. The Reviews each review had a red flag 🚩. I googled the company to get the phone number. wanted to know if it cost to send my items. There is a postage label on the bag. I’m gonna go with the first option and not use this program

Furious!
Furious!! Bought 2 pairs of flats and 2 blazers. One of the blazers is fake, pleather trash and one of the pairs of flats I paid $112 for and was advertised as new with tags. The tags were attached alright. With a price of 49.99?!?!?. I paid over twice the actual price they were bought for???? Disgusting! I will never buy from them again and will discourage anyone that is looking at buying from them. I am legitimately furious with everything being a scam anymore. Buy at your own risk! This is not the first time I’ve had a problem and I will never be able to speak kindly about a company that screws over their customers. Pure filth..

I was searching for shoes in a size 7
I was searching for shoes in a size 7. The pair that came up in my search was a size 10! The price was $23.99. Thredup wanted $3.99 fee and $10.99 shipping for return the item. For nine dollars and change, I'll throw them in the trash. RIDICULOUS. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!

Lies and empty promises
They claim you can make 40% off of sold items. I was given 98 cents for brand new torrid jeans and 1.50 for a Marc Jacob's purse. Also many items (new or like new) were rejected without explanation and they met the company's guidelines. They are scamming everyone. Do not trust this company.
