I could not be more pleased with how The Knot has helped me grow my business! I own a wedding venue in Austin and started advertising with them before we opened. In our first year we booked 114 weddings and I attribute alot of our success to the couples that found us on the Knot! I have been advertising with them for 5 years and I can't imagine running my business without the Knot!

I requested to advertise my company with the Knot, this was a one time advertisement. However, without my permission I was referred to The Wedding Wire and Wedding Pro, these two companies I was not familiar with. I completed my ad only to find out that I designed what they called a”storefront” and proceeded to charge me $99 per month. This charge I was not aware of and was told I signed a 12 month contract which I did not. In addition, Wedding Wire added information to my “storefront” without my permission. Now they are suing me for services I did not want nor requested. The couples who contacted me were fake, you can only email them and my emails were never returned. I did not make a connection with anyone. The Knot in my opinion is providing fake contacts and is misleading the public. Do not use their services.

The knot was great for a free service, allowing you to build a free website, track the guest list, managing the cash registry, and make a checklist. It was however a bit hard to use with many weird broken pathways were things would either only work on a computer or on the phone app. Also, absolutely do not use the the hotel booker. It would never let me sign in - an issue their customer service could not fi,x and then they would not stop emailing me asking about where I was staying, even asking how my stay was in a hotel we didn't book. Overall, a really mixed bag. We did find some good vendors - but I'd also always Google them or talk in person before booking.

Terrible website, terrible set-up. Your basically getting your registry through evil companies with terrible business practices like amazon and target. At the very most maybe just use it to collect addresses and track guests. Just another bullshit product from the sham of a country that is The USA. The Knot is awful.

Do not buy anything from this website. The quality is horrible. I ordered Sab the dates and it looked like something I could have printed at home on my computer. I am highly disappointed.

The Knot is very helpful with their planning tools, specifically the checklist. However the website and registry user experience is extremely frustrating and convoluted. I got so fed up with it that I created a website on a different platform and deleted my Know account, however it still remains searchable. I have contacted service three times to remove any mention of my wedding so that my guests don't keep contacting me asking for information but it still hasn't been removed. At the bare minimum, the Knot should have a feature that actually removes a wedding website and registry information. Other ways that they can improve is the user experience for cash funds and the website functionality and design can be improved.

I was extremely pleased with my daughters boy/girl brunch held at 26 West on the Navesink. The staff was wonderful and immediately put as all at ease. The food was delicious and served in a timely matter.

You need to update your attire You need to have a business casual setting. For my generation(40/50’s+) formal is tuxedo and evening gown but I’ve been invited to a wedding where the wedding party thinks formal is a suit and not a tuxedo. Think you need to go across the board for formal (tuxedo and evening gown) to semi formal( suit with tie and formal dress) to business casual( suit without jacket and tie and dress/pantsuit) to casual. Not all generations know what others think as formal.

There vendor reviews are misleading. I wrote a less than perfect review for a photographer I used and they took it down because I hired her thru my wedding planner bs directly thru her. Do not trust any of their reviews.

Horrible. I wish we had used a different site. The RSVP section is glitchy and deleted our guestlist twice. The registry won't load on the website we made and it is impossible to get a hold of anyone to fix it. Looking through vendors on it is maybe the only thing it is good for and even that has it's problems.
