0 stars. Ordered contacts on 3/26. Said they’d be shipped to the store on 3/31. Today is 4/8. The tracking says they haven’t even processed it. I went in person at the Target I got it delivered to. They said they don’t know anything about online orders. I called customer service today. After 10 minutes of explaining, he said the contacts were marked as a lost shipment. He said I could get them reordered with expedited shipping, I heard him typing this all down. He said he’d transfer me to the back order team. I got transferred to a woman who said she worked for Raybands not Target Optical. I called customer service again, took 5 minutes to get to a human being. This lady said okay she’d get me transferred so they could complete a reorder. She transferred me to a survey, where they asked if it helped. I pressed 2 for no, and it hung up. Thanks Target Optical. Without my contacts, I have a vision disability. They quite literally do not care. I spent almost $300 and no one can tell me where my contacts are or how to 1) reorder or 2) get my money back. Scamming outsourcing unethical site.

Absolutely horrible experience trying to order contacts online. Website wouldn't work and spoke to 3 different people, the last of which blamed my doctor office. Went with a different provider and they were shipped within 24 hours. Go anywhere else.

We saw Dr. George Verlich in Avon, Ohio. He was the rudest optometrist. We had to drive to Avon because the Ontario one was closed for remodeling. My daughter was going to get contacts for the first time. He wouldn’t allow her to try to put them in because it would take all night for her to put them in he said. He was trying to put them in her eye and she was telling him to stop because it was hurting and he kept going. My daughter had tears because of it. He told us we would have to schedule another appointment to come back to show she can put them in on her own. We told him we live over an hour and a half away. He still wouldn’t allow her to try. The worst experience ever.

Edited to add - the email on the response is invalid...my email was returned due to invalid email. Could I expect anything more?Can I give a zero? I had visited an eye doctor within a Target store last year and had ordered my contacts through them. I had assumed that since they were connected there would be some sort of relationship... I was wrong. So in January I tried to re-order my contacts and sent in the Rx that I had. They canceled my first order even though I provided a Rx on their site and said it wasn't valid. Then I went to re-order and before I ordered I called the Dr.s office and made sure my Rx was valid. Went through the ordering process again my contacts were sent....they sent the wrong ones. When I contacted them for a return they told me "well you ordered the wrong contacts." Well excuse me, but you have a prescription written by a doctor which tells you the EXACT contact I wear. YOU, TARGET sent the wrong ones, I did not order the wrong ones. I can't order lens without a Rx that YOU must follow. Two weeks later I had to contact CS to get them to notify the insurance company that I returned the order .... and NOW, I need to contact my credit card company because that has not been credited back yet. STAY AWAY FROM TARGET OPTICAL!!!!!

Horrible customer service. The rep literally was yelling at me on the phone. Horrible service from the beginning to the end of my purchase. Got hung up on. Then they ended the chat with no resolution. Never will buy from them again. I will be returning my glasses.

Ok i have been notifed that my contacts where lost at usps , im sorry target your in process of sending me a new order my apologize for the rating yet to receive however I cant reach anyone by email phone etc thank you

I have been trying for over two hours using different cards and also PayPal she tried to pay for my glasses to get them sent to me. I keep carrying an error even though the money is 1000% in this accounts. I am so frustrated that I have decided I would rather die than give target optical one Penny.

Slip/Alignment: frame feels loose or sits crooked, frame material is settling, or the need to tighten the hinges.Poor product material. And poor adjustment service also damages the part of the frame.

I would give my experience with Target Optical zero stars if I could. The online ordering portal was incredibly frustrating. I couldn’t find my doctor via the phone number or zip code, and tried multiple times to upload the prescription. Finally, after what seemed like a successful order, I got an email saying it was canceled 5 days later because my doctor could not be verified. I then called customer service and they placed the order all over again on the phone, which took about an hour. Even the CS person had trouble uploading my prescription. A week later, I checked on my order status online (never got any email updates that it was even placed) and the order was still pending my prescription. I called again and the CS person uploaded the prescription (again) and said she expedited shipping. I originally went with Target to save a few bucks, but it’s clear that this is a failing business. Will never order from them again.
