Incredible staff
The "girls" - more like miracle workers - were incredibly helpful, patient and just fantastic. I had them looking things up on the computer, finding stock in the back and running around like lunatics - they did all this while smiling, cracking the funnies and just being nice. They have always made shopping there a pleasure - looking forward to my next shopping spluge.

Quality clothing
Quality clothing, including sleep wear, active wear, under garments.The staff at their Newton, South Australia store are friendly, helpful and exceptional. A great place to shop for plus size women. Their clothes make me feel beautiful 😍

Fashion parade fizzle
Fashion parade fizzle! Booked on line 3 weeks ago to attend this mornings event at the Mandurah forum. Firstly, As I had not received any acknowledgment of the booking I phoned this morning to be advised yes I was booked in with my friend. Staff apologetic that I had not received confirmation but all good to go. Secondly, Arriving 10 minutes prior to the event we two ladies were told all seats had be taken! We were welcome to stay, however we would have to stand. So very disappointing. Why on earth advertise an event and ability to book if the store is unable to honour. Personally this is a big turn off. I felt like we were not valued at all and quite frankly will avoid future visits to this store. Comments invited.

Follow up on loved the style and…
Follow up on loved the style and colour. Took the product into the local store. Told person it had been suggested I bring them in to see if the issue can be resolved. I was told that the swimwear isn’t made to be worn in a pool! How silly of me to think I could use these to actually swim in. She said further that there was nothing she could do. From reading poor reviews it seems that staff could benefit from training in how to manage complaints. I’m very disappointed in both the product and the response I received.

T shirts use to be top quality not great now
T shirts use to be top quality, thick. soft, non-hot, washable material that kept its shape and lasted hundreds of wears and washes. I’m going back 5-7 years ago when I bought quiet a few that I’ve worn over and over. Some had gold stars on t-shirt with styled arms and curved front and back, another had a silver stripe amongst other stripes. All very stylish. All t-shirts now will be lucky to last 1-2 years. Material is cheaper quality even though the shirt is just as expensive and styles are mostly the plain t-shirt shape. I hope taking shape can look back at previous quality materials and styles and go back to when they made great t shirts.

Jindalee Taking Shape - Five Star
Visited Jindalee Taking Shape on the 18th January 2026 after receiving high recommendations from my sister who visited the shop in September 2025. I am a very difficult person when it comes to buying clothes for myself and I find it hard to get clothes that I like and feel comfortable in. I was approached by Andrea and was from the word go in her care. She was super helpful, knew her styles and colours. She was never pushy, and asked my daughter what I like to wear. She went out of her way to find styles that I was comfortable in. I did buy clothes that I would normally not wear or look at, but after my experience with Andrea, I like what I saw and bought. I am actually going back there to buy myself some swimmers and a wedding outfit!! I hope I get to the great help from AndreaFive Star Treatment – thank you AndreaKarin van Staden

Customer service was very rude at…
Customer service was very rude at addressing my Enquiry! I ordered an item at click and collect and the lady I spoke to tried to tell me it was my fault for selecting PayPal express which apparently overrides my request.So even though my order got sent to store I was still charged a $10 delivery fee and also missed out on a bonus $10 click and collect. I emailed straight away when I realised and also tried to call up and speak with someone but was no one was available to contact to cancel the order and by the time someone replied to my email it was already too late and she would not even offer me a $10 click and collect bonus for the hassle! She also tried to tell me that it was my own fault for ordering on Boxing Day when no one was available to talk to very rude!!

Very quick shipping
The clothes are a little bit different, and very quick shipping! The only "con" for me personally, is that the smallest sizes are still pretty large, more like a 12. However, although I had to send back a pair of trousers for this reason, I've kept the other items which are supposed to hang loosely anyway. They look good and are comfortable!
