Ethan is My SpotHERO of the Year
The customer service representative is what made my experience the best it could be. I gave Ethan very little insight as to how urgent my call was last Sunday. The garage where I park changed the security gate access padlock combination and didn't send notice. A very close friend for whom I hold Power of Attorney for Healthcare suffered what presented as a stroke while working. I received a call from the paramedics as they were taking him to the hospital, asking that I meet them there. I rushed to the garage and yes, you guessed it, could not open the gate. Called the customer service number and was connected to Ethan. While he placed me on hold to track down the info, I somehow disconnected our call. Before I could call Ethan back, he had emailed and left a voicemail with the updated info. Ran back to the garage and click, I was in. I arrived about 5 minutes after the ambulance transporting my friend. Turned out he did not suffer a stroke and he is home and recovering. There was an issue with being…
There was an issue with being overcharged at the garage. Wasn't spot hero fault but they refunded my payment since the gatage charged me. The parking was easy and as expected

I could not get in nor could I get out…
I could not get in nor could I get out of the parking garage that I was confirmed for. I was informed later that you cannot arrive earlier than your scheduled time. I arrive like 20 minutes early so I suppose that was my error. I believe you should be charged for the time versus not being able to get in at all or at least clearly state this.

I was impressed
I was impressed, because I actually couldn't park where I had reserved a parking spot. I had to wait around, then leave and find another parking garage. So, I called the following day to complain. The representative was so nice, she apologized, then refunded the full amount to my credit card. She then explained that, if I used Spot Hero again, I could call immediately and they would have found me another place to park right then. Anyway, I was impressed that the customer service was really good...

Confusion in the lot
There was some confusion once I was in the garage because there was signs everywhere saying that every vehicle needed to register at the kiosk. I didn't want to pay again so I just had to trust that the system was working as intended. I didn't get a ticket or towed so everything worked, but I was worried there was a slight chance I wasn't doing things correctly.

Elevator Out of Order
