I purchased a refill of the Bum Bum…
I purchased a refill of the Bum Bum Cream, but when I opened it, the product was covered in a brown residue and had a strong, rotten smell. This made it clearly unusable.I contacted customer service, and while they acknowledged that the cream was not safe to use, they were unable to offer a replacement, refund, or even a voucher because they only ship within the US, whereas I am based in London.I find this very concerning. As a customer, I expect some level of protection when receiving a defective product. It does not feel fair that I am left out of pocket for something that cannot be used.Unfortunately, due to this experience and the lack of support, I will not be purchasing this cream again

The Sol de Janeiro products are…
The Sol de Janeiro products are wonderful but very pricey so I have to shop around for the best deals. On saying that my one & only gripe is that the inner pod is nigh on IMPOSSIBLE to remove in order to fit the refill pod!! Done everything & still this inner pod will not budge!! Bum bum creams, bum bum body scrub are just 2 that are impossible to refill. So unless this can be addressed, I'm afraid more plastic needs to be hopefully recycled.

I see that my experience with this…
I see that my experience with this company is not unique. I don't know what is wrong with their customer service department and why they are so dumb and rude. The fact that they actually tell customers that they have a 7 to 10 day shipping window before the item even ships and then it can take another week. This is 2026 where logistics is better than it is ever been in history. The fact that it would take 14 days to get from New Jersey to Detroit is wild. Maybe they should stop using DHS to USPS. They run their business like it is a mom and pop shop out of a garage. As someone who works in manufacturing I find it insane. Never ever buy from their website and if you buy on Amazon you actually can get it cheaper sometimes or at Sephora or Ulta. It's amazing to me that they're still in business I don't think that they would be if they didn't have other retailer selling their products. It's clearly a bunch of children that are running customer service and their logistics department. Always use PayPal to pay with them if you are going to use their website because then you can dispute it through PayPal and get better results.They give their fake auto responses.

The worse inconsiderate customer service ever…
Customer service through email are idiots. I ordered a multi pack for a Christmas gift on October 31 and never got it and had to jump through all kinds of hoops to get my refund. finally, in the beginning of January, my credit card got refunded. Needless to say in an email,I demanded a refund and told them that I will never do business with them in the future and that I had filed a dispute with my credit card company because they were giving me the runaround. As I said, the dispute was settled in early January and now Sol de Janeiro is trying to send me the product that I ordered back in October???? Total inconsiderate idiots!!!

Order shipped December 20 and still no delivery as of January 5. Shipping distance is New Jersey to Tennessee.

I placed an order and was told my order…
I placed an order and was told my order would be here in 2 to 3 business days before Christmas. A couple days go by so I checked the status and my order is unfulfilled so I reached out to a chat AI agent and it tells me it’s gonna take 8 to 10 business days. I asked to speak to an agent so I can get a refund and cancel my order. No one was available and I was told to send an email. I’ve been sending emails and haven’t heard back from anybody and now the order is being shipped.There is no customer service line to call anybody to cancel. This place is a scam. The return policy says that it would take 30 days to get my money back and I would have to pay to send it back. Never again will I order from this place

Email fraud support built in
An Erika Toomey from Topeka Kansas misused my email to get a discount and set up an account with soldejaneiro.com and (inadvertently?) let me receive all the spam and order info. That is why I know the persons name and home address!This is possible because sol de janeiro do not require email verification until you want to access the account.This is systematically condoning fraudulent behaviourRequesting soldejaneiro.com to cancel the order and delete the account, has only resulted in chatter emails without taking the appropriate action.

Whiney little *itches
So sol de janeiro sued mco beauty because they want to dupe their mists? I don't shop with ANY company that literally tries to monopolize the market to not allow other companies that bring affordable fragrances to people. We all need to make an example of sol by not putting up with not them not "allowing" dupes. Sol's 15 minutes of fame will be tainted with being a bully mean girl on the world stage of the beauty industry. Sol spending their profits being a bully in court tell us all we need to know about who they are. They did it to themselves. Read the Guardian article "Perfume brands fighting a ‘lost cause’ against cheap dupes, say lawyers." We as consumers side with the dupers automatically. The companies suing will lose the consumers and the consumers are the money. Heed the warning sol de janerio.

From signature scent to serious…
From signature scent to serious disappointment!!I used to absolutely adore Sol de Janeiro 71. It was my go-to fragrance—I could spray it on in the morning and throughout the day I would always get compliments.But over the last three months, something has clearly changed. The scent now carries a sharp urine-like smell, and instead of being long-lasting and irresistible, it fades quickly. It genuinely feels like the formula has been altered with cheaper ingredients.At first, Sol de Janeiro gave us an amazing product at an affordable price. But now it feels like they’ve cut corners for profit. Even my stepdaughter, without knowing which fragrance was being tested, said “it smells like urine” when sprayed in store.For me, the brand has lost the magic it once had. Sol de Janeiro 71 has gone from a signature scent to something I can’t wear anymore—and I know I’m not alone in feeling this way.

Great brand
I got the perfumes and they have cool packaging,smell great,last long,nice names and more.the lip balm smells good,long lasting,nice packaging and good application.over all great experience.
