Excellent service
I recently purchased a long sleeve UV shirt and despite checking the measurements guide, the shirt was too large. On contacting Solbari, they made the return and exchange process really easy. They covered the cost of returning the wrong size and all I had to pay extra was to ship another size. Replacement arrived promptly and was perfect fit. Great customer service

White Traveller Broad Brimmed Sun Hat is a dud
I have purchased several items from Solbari and been happy with them but the white Traveller Broad Brimmed Sun Hat is a dud. The white fabric is quite thin and if it is wet I doubt will offer the SPF50+. But the biggest problem is the navy inner band is not colourfast and if it gets wet due to sweat or surf spray the navy bleads blue stains into the white hat

Moisture pooled in roof of hat
The hat is not breathable, water pooled above my hair, very hot, inflexible brim. Absolute waste of money- and non refundable!

Don't know who's giving Solbarri 5-star…
Don't know who's giving Solbarri 5-star reviews- must be ppl who've never worn a hat before. This product is overwhelmingly disappointing, from the fabric, to the wire in the brim, to the general quality of the product. Do not waste your money, David Jones & Myer have plenty must cheaper, better quality hats. You're welcome.

Dishonest sales conduct
I purchased 4 hats and 2 shirts as Christmas gifts. At checkout I was offered for an extra fee the option of a faster delivery between 3-6 days. I used that as timeline was critical for me as I am going overseas for Christmas. Today 7 days have passed and the items not only have not been delivered but based on their tracking service don’t seem to have even arrived in the UK. I reached out to customer service and had an awful experience. After promising a 3-6 day delivery and charging a fee for that, they now tried to provide several caveats and conditions for the delivery timelines - none of that disclosed when they asked for the extra delivery fee. I asked then the order to be cancelled as those were Christmas gifts and won’t arrive on time and I was told is not possible - that it, it is now my problem - and that I can return if I meet return T&Cs. This in my view a dishonest behavior, seeking extra fees without really having the logistics in place to deliver within the promised timelines and then when they fail to deliver offering several previously undisclosed condition and caveats and avoiding their supplier responsibility. Matter remains unresolved and I am looking currently at my legal options.

So far so sood...
I bought the wide brimmed hat, wore it for the first time this morning, and for me it works well, as I hate the sun on my face.... I've since read reviews that they eventually fade but I had a different brand and it did the same over time so not sure if that's normal or not, but so far so good...

I have zero complaints!!
I spent a lot of money on their pre Black Friday sale 2025 and then saw these reviews and I was so sick over it. My orders arrived today so I wanted to give my review. I placed my order on 10/30, it shipped 10/31 and arrived 11/6. I am in the US and it shipped from California. I adore these hats. I really love the fabric, the style, all of it. I also ordered the face mask for face/neck and it’s great too. So for me, 5 stars across the board. No issues and no complaints. Shipping was fast and within the US.

Solbari is the only one to offer me proper UPF
I live in the UK (despite my profile which states Netherlands because I use a VPN) and have been diagnosed with Lupus. I decided to buy two long sleeved tops from Solbari after researching the internet. I wore them all of the time whilst outdoors during our recent hot summer and can honestly say they have provided me with lots of sun protection - unlike the cheap 3 for £30 ones I bought on Amazon which gave me absolutely no protection despite stating they were UPF50! Ok, these are not cheap, but as far as my experience with these items go, 'you get what you pay for'. We have washed and dried them as they state in the instructions and I have worn them (in fact I bought another two of them on the back of my experience with wearing them) daily. Looking at the material without using scientific technology will tell you nothing, but wearing them on sunny hot days, when you have skin that too readily burns, tells me how effective they are. They have, despite all the use, remained soft and feel like great quality. This is a totally independent opinion based on my experience. I cannot afford to wear clothes which state they offer sun protection and don't. Solbari has a 10 out of 10 from me.

£45 for a polyester sunhat? Just go on Temu and get the same hat for £5 plus free shipping. Solbari are scammers using marketing lingo to sell unremarkable rebranded products purchased in bulk.Please note that essentially all polyester fabrics have high UPF (sun protection) due to the nature of these artificial fibers. Solbari use marketing spin to sell average garments for more money than they have any moral right to charge.Want to avoid polyester fabrics? Wear a thin long sleeve cotton tee under a summer cotton jacket such as an army bush jacket. The UPF protection multiplies when you layer like this. If you want to keep layering and weight to a minimum then go polyester but seriously look on the Temu shopping platform for near identical garments to what you'll find on Solbari.
