Customer service is terrible

Customer service is terrible. They say its policy but to wait to 10 plus days for them to review whether they will ship you a new card or not after receiving the broken one is ridiculous. Should be anew one sent with pre paid mailing and package to send the broken one back. Wouldn't buy another card from them. Lots of card manufactures with way better customer service

Another Failed SanDisk SD card…

Once again I have had a SanDisk SD card fail. They claim to provide software that can deal with problems on a card but I found it unusable. In the circumstances, I reached out to SanDisk but they could not be contacted. So very poor service all round. I have switched to another brand.

SanDisk did make good products earlier

SanDisk did make good products earlier, but have now decided to simply defraud costumers with "Memory Zone". This is an android app, and it does work on an android phone. But when you download the PC version of Memory Zone, it is basicly the same android app, just with another name, that the PC is somehow supposed to emulate. When you contact tech support, they tell you to read the instructions once more - then this would maybe somehow make your PC run an android app.

Crocks

I have contacted SANDISK about a thumb disk that I purchased. After five months the usbc has stopped working. I feel they have given me a right runaround. I can’t be bothered now. I will never get any thing from this company again. It was only £21 but for me it’s the principle. Crocks. Keep away!

Customer support it s joke for them

Customer support it s joke for them, I spent the last 2 days talking to an IQ Chicken's CSR. I had my product registered for over 2 years, and now as I am changing my laptop ,they are refusing this registration trying to convince me it's not an original product unless I provided the invoice 🤦‍♂️Not buying original product from SD anymore _|_

SanDisk, inventors of Flash Drives

SanDisk are the inventors of Flash Drives, but like OpenAI when they brought the first chat ChatGPT. They never advanced, Google, Claude and other surpassed them easily. The same here, the SandDisk flash drives heat up a lot, and after a while they become unreadable, which is a pity. They are expected to produce a better quality and more reliable products, but they don't. Today, I deliberately seek non-SandDisk drives mainly because of reliability issues, but also heat.

I created an account with the intention…

I created an account with the intention of making a purchase. After several failed attempts to add an item to the shopping cart I gave up trying. I ended up purchasing elsewhere. No longer needing the account I tried to delete it but there is no option to. Online chat is AI and didn't understand a simple 'delete account' request. No email address address either. No response on Messenger. Nothing positive to say.

I’ve been building rigs for 20 years…

I’ve been building rigs for 20 years and I have never dealt with a company as difficult as WD/SanDisk. I’ve had two of their NVMe drives fail in less than a year. My 4TB SN850X flagship just died out of nowhere, and a second drive I bought for my son started throwing reliability warnings after one week of use. For "premium" gaming storage, the failure rate is pathetic. I have older drives from other brands that have been through three different builds and still work perfectly, but these WD drives are a total gamble. The support experience was even worse. When I tried to RMA the 4TB drive, they basically refused to honor the warranty because of my location. Even though I’m in the EU, they claimed they couldn't handle the logistics or provide a functioning return label for my region. On top of the shipping excuses, their "warranty policy" is a joke. They actually try to tell you that the warranty is void if you remove the sticker to get better thermal contact with a real heatsink. For anyone who knows their stuff, you know these drives need proper cooling to avoid throttling, and in the EU, it’s actually illegal for them to void a warranty over a sticker unless they can prove you caused the damage. It’s clear this company wants to hide behind technicalities and "void" stickers instead of standing by their hardware. Between the high failure rates and the fact that they will dodge your RMA if you live anywhere slightly off the map, I’m done with them. If you’re a serious builder who actually cares about your data and your consumer rights, save yourself the headache and buy a Samsung or a Crucial instead.
