false advertising

SeatGeek was a complete hassle to deal with. They use computer generated images to show the "view" from your seats that are misleading and don't show foul poles, etc' that are in the way. Customer service was abysmal and dealing with their AI chat bot was a headache. All I wanted was a refund or to change seats because I would've bought different seats had their pictures been accurate. I was basically told I was out of luck (even after providing proof) and have to wait until I get my tickets to potentially sell them "if it's enabled" and that could be 2 days before the event which is months from now! They don't care about their customers at all. I bought different tickets from a more reputable website and already have them lol. Stay away from SeatGeek, all they're good for is a bunch of empty rhetoric and a waste of time and money.

Don’t use SeatGeek, takes your money but doesn’t give you your tickets.

No reason to use a ticket service that takes your money but doesn’t give you your tickets, that doesn’t have a consumer service contact other than an AI CHAT BOT that doesn’t understand things. Day 1: it wouldn’t let me process my payment for Dodger seats. Opening Day. Day 2: I did purchase a ticket, but it wouldn’t give it to me. Day 3: it showed me a game seat ticket, but said it would have to be found on the internet for entrance…but it wouldn’t give me my PARKING TICKET, so I have to walk in??? It’s just ALL EFFED UP. I now believe I’ll show up Opening Day and find myself sitting outside the stadium, on concrete, back to concrete wall, trying to find my tickets on the net, still with some critical guard saying he can’t let me in with a screenshot of the ticket. That’s what the screen said. I’m so mad! I found the horrible AI CHAT BOT again and ordered it to give me my money back, but it didn’t respond to that.CHEATERS. SCAMMERS. LIARS. I could have flushed my $400 down the toilet instead—less frustration. At least I could have watched it circle going down. SEATGEEK has been a total waste. $400! I can’t believe it.

SeatGeek is a Scam

I purchased tickets through SeatGeek in October 2025 for an event scheduled in April 2026. These tickets were intended for hosting clients of the company I work for. Unfortunately, in January, our client informed us they would no longer be able to attend. As per our company policy, unused tickets must be refunded and the cost must be returned to the company.I reached out to SeatGeek in January and have contacted them dozens of times since, but have received no solution. SeatGeek refuses to provide the tickets until the day before the event and will not issue a refund. Not providing tickets until the day before the event leaves us no time to resell them and recoup our costs. Their refusal to offer a refund for a purchase under these circumstances is unacceptable and irreprehensible.SeatGeek has an entire platform and could easily resell these tickets within a week, especially since this is a sold-out event. BEWARE—never use SeatGeek. This company should be shut down immediately.

1st time Ticket purchaser for Monster Jam event

I ordered Monster Jam tickets through SeatGeek, and the process was very smooth from the backend and email notification and communication side of things. You can tell the system is a well oiled machine. The transaction was also quick and efficient, I got the tickets quickly after purchase for this particular event.

SeatGeek stands behind your purchase.

I purchased a parking pass and tickets to a Colorado Avalanche game through SeatGeek as a Christmas gift for my wife. Due to an unexpected issue, our original seats were double-sold, and we were upgraded to the row directly in front of our original seats. While it may seem minor, we moved from three rows off the glass to just two. Everything went very smooth and it ended up being a wonderful surprise and a memorable evening.

SeatGeek did not fulfill my purchase

SeatGeek did not fulfill my purchase. First part of this unfortunate waste of time was that I need two tickets for my wife and I. I noticed that there was a two seats within one row that were separated by another two seats. For example for seats 1-4, one and four were available. I purchased seat one and when I went to purchase seat four it was now gone. I then noticed two seats pop up now next to each other so I purchased those and sold the one ticket. That one ticket was processed and fulfilled by the seller within 15 minutes of purchasing that one ticket. I then sold the ticket right away since I didn’t need it anymore believing I had two tickets that were about to be fulfilled. Those two tickets never came and called SeatGeek an hour and a half before the event to get this figured out. After an hour, they finally picked up and say they’ll get in touch with the seller. The seller then sends one, 1, one, 1, did I mention one ticket. My purchased of two tickets was not fulfilled. It now became too late for us to go and was not going to gamble on getting that second ticket by the time we got there.Second part of this unfortunate waste of time. I had to prove my purchases and what I received from taking pictures online. Can they not just see the time stamps on there end? Why am I spending more of my wasted night defending myself? This was Friday night and forward to Tuesday afternoon I receive an email SeatGeek will only refund me back for one of the tickets. How is this fair? I received one ticket instead of the two I purchased. My purchase was not fulfilled I want back all of the money I spent. Why could SeatGeek not just make this fair and right the wrongs? But instead prolonged my distrust with this company and further demonstrated their lack of decent customer service.

Ticket never arrived and SeatGeek wouldn't answer my emails

I bought an expensive concert ticket and received an email from SeatGeek that it was delivered and to look for the email from the 3rd party vendor. I never received the email from the vendor. I tried addressing the problem with their help bot and it kept taking me in circles, telling me to check with the 3rd party vendor but not telling me who the vendor was. I checked with AXS and Ticketmaster but there was no ticket. It was not easy, but I found an email address for their customer service. I told them that I had not received the ticket, and they asked for screenshots of Ticketmaster's site showing that there was no ticket. I sent the screenshots and they said they would have Ticketmaster send it again, and that was the last response I got from them. 5 days and 4 emails later, they still hadn't responded. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card to get my money back. Very disappointing.
