Great customer service

The customer service has been very helpful in getting me setup. They are responsive and patient.I just started using the collar with our dog, she immediately noticed the noise and vibration when she approached the boundary line. We have not used the static and hopefully we will not need to. So far, it is a great product!

Poor connectivity, unreliable, money grab!

I've had my Satellai dog collars now since May of 2025, and I've had nothing but problems from day 1. They collars do not respond to the GPS or cellular accurately. My dogs are now totally confused by the constant alerts no where near the fence, in fact I have a dog that we now have to walk outside without a collar on in order to get her to go potty, standing right next to her. I was directed to use the BEACON inside the house to mark a safe space and that helped but the beacons have a 90 day battery life and then you are required to purchase a new one every 90 days for $40 because they are not rechargeable or battery replaceable! I've also had the Spot-On collar, which worked flawlessly until the dogs beat up playing and broke a wire, contacted spot-on CS and they replaced the collar for free!

Lack of support, collar GPS is not reliable

Out of the gate, my dogs were getting shocked when they were 50 yards inside the fence line we drew. We requested support via email and form online; got no response. The fence line continues to be spotty, and we have compensated in response.Within 30 days of having the collars, the fasteners on one of the collars came loose and fell off while the dogs were out and about (47 acres, not going to find it...). I called the support center, was told they didn't have fasteners in stock, was told I would get an email response to resolve the issue. Again, no response. I had to buy make shift hardware to fix the collars. Since the time of requesting assistance, I have sent multiple follow up emails and filled out the form online, trying to get a response. The phone support is quite obviously a call center who has no idea how to support the collars, so calling seems pointless. The Spot On collars have better support, but the collars fall apart, the Satellai collars have the protective cover, which compensates for poor quality, but the customer support is awful.

Horrible experience

I am having a horrible experience with these collars and customer service. When the collars work, they’re great, but we’ve had several issues and customer service is of no help. We have 3 dogs, 2 Great Pyrenees and 1 Australian Shepherd. We absolutely need to keep the dogs contained on our 40 acres as we boarder a 40mph busy road. One of the collars often won’t charge, another won’t connect to GPS at all, and the 3rd has fallen off my dog twice. We found it the first time, not sure we can find it again as the app has a firmware notice blocking the map that I can’t dismiss. For a week now, customer service has given me troubleshooting instructions that don’t work or they tell me to navigate to places in the app that don’t exist. They’ve requested endless screenshots and are still telling me that they need to do a technical review to confirm there are issues with the collars or I will be responsible for return shipping and processing fees. This is an insane amount of hoop jumping. I’ve already ordered Halo collars because I need to keep my dogs safe and I can only hope Satellai will quit the game soon and give me a return and full refund.

Money scam

We got this collar thinking it'll help with our dog because we live next to a highway and worry about her getting out and there being an accident. We have over 5 acres in a great cell service area. The collar was shocking her in the middle of the fenced area a lot causing her to freak out and almost hurt herself. It even shocked her while sleeping. The battery hardly lasts a day. We've hardly had it a month. After paying multiple times for shipping and waiting weeks for it to deliver, and then it causing our dog harm and stress we contacted them to get our money back and send the collar back but all we've gotten is turned in circles instead of simply being able to return the item. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. It's a great idea yes, and with advanced in technology we thought it would work, but it's just a money pit to try and suck you dry. Apparently the satisfaction clause they give you is ignored by them and they really just want your money. Update: yea so it was happening in an open field. I have great cell service where I live. All I got was excuses and no accountability from the company. The collar has clearly not been working caused me and my family stress yet they say nothing is wrong with it. Customer service has been extremely poor and continues to be that. They're literally just trying to take your money even if their product doesn't work. For a company that says they care for dogs safety and wellbeing..it sure has been the furthest thing from it.

Good Tool, Great Customer Service

I was over the moon for the first 2 months of this collar. Then, the connection problems came… then my German pointer lost the collar in a bush… I was livid and reached out to customer service. They told me how to do a hard reset on the collar (hold down the button by the light for 12 seconds) and explained the technology so I knew how to make it work best for us no matter where we were. The only feedback i still have for them is to make a sturdier buckle, and based on how kind and receptive they are, I’m sure the next model will have one. For all the naysayers, a tool is just a tool. You have to train your dog, not just zap them at the highest setting. I’ve never shocked my dog, and when I use the whistle function without the fence, she comes right back to me. She’s not scared of it either. Without any sort of negotiating, they gave me 6 months free.

Great GPS Collar for large Homestead!

We got a SATELLAI dog collar for our mixed-breed husky/Aussie, and it has truly been put to the test. We live on over 50 acres on a mountain in Vermont, where winters are cold and conditions can be tough. This waterproof collar had no issues handling snow or harsh weather and consistently maintained a strong GPS signal.The app is intuitive and very user-friendly, which we appreciated right away. As a working homestead, knowing exactly where our dogs are at all times is essential. Being able to set custom boundaries gave us real peace of mind, no matter where we are on the property.The “no-go zones” feature was also a huge plus. Our dog does a great job protecting the homestead, but we definitely don’t want her going after our chickens. With this collar, we know our dogs are safe, contained, and doing their job without creating new problems.

Great product, dogs have a new life

Learn from my mistakes. Tip 1: keep the collars in low power mode if battery life is important to you. Low power mode more then doubles my battery life. 2: keep the collars and app updated as they come. Each update has significantly simplified the user experience.
