There was no quibble when I contacted customer services regarding a plant that had not grown. The refund came almost immediately with an apology which is lacking from some other on-line stores. I have had plants before from Sarah Raven and certainly the dahlia's have been very good quality.

I have attended Sarah Raven talks which I always find extremely interesting and I particularly like the way she describes how to grow and display flowers which are my main interest . Her pod casts are very helpful and web site easy to follow to place orders .

Ordered foxgloves last year which turned up half dead and then failed to flower. I thought oh well that must be a one off as Sarah Raven looks like such a professional and high quality company- WRONG! I ordered a specific colour combination of tulips, which have now come into bloom… and are nothing like what I ordered. Completely different colours and not what I would have chosen at all. Such a shame as I thought I would love their plants. The image of the products they sell is fantastic -shame the reality can’t live up to the social media content!

So far reasonably good quality products, and they have a good selection of plants seeds and bulbs, including some unusual varieties. However service is pretty dreadful. I ordered a selection of seeds, which have all been arriving at different times and well after estimated delivery at time of order, for some it was too late to sow this year and some packets are missing completely from delivery. I've had to contact multiple times via AI chat to let them know delivery has missing seeds. Awful customer service. I'm still waiting for full completion of my order,6 weeks after ordering.

Over the Easter weekend I ordered 4 lots of plants worth over £76 which included a promotional discount for my sister and put down her address on the order as the delivery address. When the order came through it wrongly changed the delivery address to my address. It is very difficult to find any email/contact details on the website but I managed to get an email through giving the correct delivery address and saying that if they couldn’t use the right delivery address then I wanted to cancel the order. Days later I got an email back saying 3 out of the 4 items were not available (why allow them to be ordered online then and why is at least one of them being promoted on their Facebook feed this morning?) and had been cancelled and I would get a refund. When I checked my credit card it showed a debit rather than a refund. This has now been rectified no thanks to them. So far as delivering the 1 remaining item they can supply is concerned they said that they couldn’t alter the address for the item - even though it clearly hasn’t been dispatched yet! They said I should contact their courier Evri to change the address but because it hasn’t been dispatched I have no details but in any event I don’t expect for one moment that Evri will co-operate. Incidentally I have ended up paying full advertised price without the Spring promo discount for this item but have no idea when it will arrive because they’ve sent no Evri tracking details. As it hasn’t been dispatched why can’t they co-operate and either change the address or failing that cancel it as instructed. Customer Service is non-existent and this is reflected in their poor reviews - many customers have experienced the same issues as me. They are hard to get hold of and don’t respond when you do get hold of them. Based on my appalling experience my opinion is to steer well clear of this business.

Usually Evri fiasco. Asked customer services why they use Evri and got the lame excuse that "we have a contract with them" . Well evri are not fulfilling their contract so terminate it. Reading other reviews they are taking your reputation down the pan . Won't be ordering ever again

Good things - I raised a complaint about an item and this was dealt with quickly and I was refunded promptly. Great customer service on this. Not so good things - ordering is a bizarre process. You order, you pay and then they tell you when you will receive your items. This could be months ahead but this is not really made clear when purchasing. For instance, I ordered some Cerinthe seeds in February along with some other items. It originally said the seeds would be despatched in 3 days, this date then moved to mid March and then they finally arrived this week. Not great for those of us that like to start things off early indoors and under grow lights. I also had forgotten about ordering them since it took so long and so then purchased more seeds at a local garden centre only last week. This side of things is not great to be honest. I don’t want to have to wait until this company decides the time or stock levels are right to send them to me. Not sure I will use again. It’s a shame, because they truly do stock some wonderful things.

Parcel says delivered but it wasn’t Evri !!, cannot get a reply from them or sarah raven , poor poor customer service
