Ordered from Ireland. Online returns process on website did not work. Costumer services is absolutely awful, been emailing for weeks and still not update on how to return the parcel. If you do not live near a store to be able to return in store do not order online

Awful experience with this retailer. Please take my advice and shop elsewhere. Orders not fulfilled and NO refund offered. Customer service waste of time as is so called managers.

Paid for next day delivery and it took three working days to arrive. Appreciate this is the courier's fault but I paid River Island for next day delivery in the hope they use a reputable company. There is nowhere on the website to ask for delivery fee to be adjusted and actually that's where they make extra money, who has the time or the inclination to follow that up. As it was I had to take time off to go and find the gift elsewhere

My order is late, and the agent Andrea, who replied to me in the chat said, “You can always contact the courier yourself.” Are you serious? It’s like they won’t lift a finger to help. Horrible company! I told her I’m going to travel next week and nobody will be here to receive it, and still no help.

Only giving one star to be able to leave a review. This is the worst experience I ever had when it comes to shopping online. I bought a jacket which was delivered by Evri, which is just a shambolic courier, don’t know how these people running a business cos to me they look like they can’t even run a bath. Anyway parcel was dumped at the bottom of wheelie bin somewhere in my area but not sure where as only had the inside of the bin as a proof of delivery, bare in mind I was at home all that time so the Idiot of a Driver didn’t even knock. The GPS screenshot confirmed it was delivered to a different address. Contacted Everi immediately and of course was reassured they doing what ever they can to resolve the issue. Next day had an email telling me I should go and look for the parcel, search the local bins and speak to my neighbours. I am telling you I was absolutely fuming 😡 what a bunch of imbeciles. A week later had an email from them saying the driver didn’t do nothing wrong, he followed all the instructions and at this point I should contact River Island. Advice for Evri, you should provide a basic ENGLISH course for your drivers and we all know why. Contacted RI then was called few times by the team, finally had an email saying they need to conduct a fraud investigation to confirm the information is correct, I am just going to say that I will never shop at RI again, ever again… Days later another email saying good news your refund is on its way, few days later another message- sorry we can’t process your refund as we got no bank details, so would you like a gift card or a voucher or would you still want the money? I said I want a refund into my account. Been told they will give me a call to process the payment over the phone, that was over a week ago now. They keep telling me, we tried to call but it went to voicemail which I don’t have, then that I didn’t answer, honestly the excuses are beyond me. I rang them today hoping this will get resolved but been told they will send me an email as the customer service doesn’t deal with payments so again I am waiting… I am not disappointed I am disgusted 🤮 the customer service is absolutely shocking. They want your money cos that’s what keeps them in the jobs but they can’t be bothered to provide any help. All the Super Stars, well done you

I've shopped at river island for over 20 plus years I've always bought my clothes from there never had a problem until now .. I ordered 2 pairs of jeans same style and size . 1 pair fit 1 didn't so the shop assistant said she would re order another pair as an exchange . This pair has been cancelled by R I . So I'm down 1 pair of jeans and they haven't refunded me my money . I've been passed from person to person in customer service they all say the same thing wait 5 days for money well it's gone on now for 8 days still not resolved. Been to the store twice as well . No one seems to take any notice just being fobbed off !! . It's would be different if it was their money .. feel like reporting to trading standards as theft . I need a refund is it too much to ask . Ive given them all my order numbers . Still waiting for replys it's disgusting customer service

Customer service is severely lacking! Only partial refund received from an online order as they have accused me of wearing one of the dresses. I categorically did not wear the dress! I was told someone would call me no one did. I called again to be told no one calls customers! I can only email a complaint!

Visited River Island Trafford Centre on 6th March. I didnt have much time as i had to be back for school pick up. I knew what i wanted and the lovely lady on the till was up and down the store helping me find the items i wanted to purchase. She couldn’t have been anymore accommodating. I was able to purchase all of the items i needed and she even helped with accessories to match. Thanks for making my day less stressful and more enjoyable Becki Wills/Wilson.I asked for her name so i could leave a review she smiled and wrote her name but im not sure if i have read her surname correctly. Thanks again for your help.
