Upgraded Bottle… Downgraded Formula

l've been buying this hand cream for almost 8-9 years, especially the cherry blossom one. It used to be one of my favorites.Back then, the packaging was simple plastic nothing special, but the formula? Amazing. One pump was enough, super moisturizing, and it actually lasted.Now they've upgraded to glass packaging, which looks nicer and probably feels more "premium." But the formula has completely changed... and not in a good way.It's much more liquid, less rich, and even after 3-4 pumps, my hands still feel dry. On top of that, the price has gone up.Honestly, I would take the old plastic packaging back any day if it meant getting the original quality again.

Buy better elsewhere

After ordering items one was broken in transit . I was given a £10.00 gift card and advised they would send out another which they did to the wrong address… was told I could get another £10.00 gift card due to it going to the wrong address and a refund …. Now telling me they don’t give two gift cards even though it’s for two seperate issues !! Rituals you definitely lost a valued customer !! You don’t care at all and all you say is we will pass on your feed back ? To who ? Fobbed off totally

They stopped producing my favorite product

I had one hand creme that was amazing, the jand creme from ritjals of jing. And they stopped producing it! I can't understand - you have good products, why must you make something new and stop the good ones???

Wont Exchange Un-opened/Un-used Gift!

My wife was given a ‘The Ritual of Hammam’ gift box as a birthday present, purchased from your store at Atria Watford by her friend. As the recipient, she attended the same store to request an exchange. She was informed that, as the item was a few days outside of your returns period, an exchange would not be permitted.Today, I have already attempted to resolve this matter through your customer services. Unfortunately, this began with what I can only describe as a frustrating experience dealing with your AI chatbot, which was unable to properly address my query. I was then connected to a representative, Magdalena via ‘WhatsApp', who was pleasant and initially understanding; however, despite this, my issue remains unresolved.I find this outcome both unreasonable and disappointing. As this was a genuine gift for which my wife had no control over the original purchase date, and the delay in requesting an exchange was minimal. The item remains unused, in perfect condition, and fully resalable, with proof of purchase (gift receipt) available. While I appreciate that exchanges for unwanted items may fall under store policy, I believe a rigid refusal in these circumstances falls well below the level of service expected from a premium brand.I would also draw your attention to the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Whilst I understand this legislation primarily addresses faulty or misdescribed goods, I believe that a fair and reasonable approach to customer service, particularly in the case of gifts, should align with the spirit of consumer protection and good faith.Given the above, I ask that you personally review this situation or arrange for it to be reviewed at an appropriate level, and authorise a resolution—ideally an exchange or store credit.I would also appreciate clarification on your policy regarding gift returns and whether any discretion is afforded in situations such as this.I trust this matter can be resolved promptly and amicably, and I look forward to your response.

Thanks for nothing

Bought a gift card for someone's birthday online and included a personalised message. A few hours later the email with the gift card still had not arrived so I get onto customer service. They tell me to just be patient.Many hours later the email still has not arrived so customer service "fixes it" by generating a generric email with no personalisation. Great gift to give someone.Two weeks later the personalised email actual does arrive but that gift card is no longer valid so that is besides the point. This morning the generic gift card is used in store only for the store clerk to sy it is not working. They tried multiple times but it just was not working.Rituals AI customer support is so fantastic that its answer to the complaint that the card is not working in store is that the card works in store. Great going, absolute top tier stuff.In summary Rituals ruined a bithday gift, replaced it with one that doesn't work and charged me for the experience.Will never use them again.

Brilliant customer service by Kerry at Luton Airport

Today I was in London Luton Airport and I pop into Rituals shop. Kerry was excellent to explain me all the history behind the brand and how it’s became an international brand. She showed me all the products in the shop. Thank you Kerry so much. Definitely she deserve a rewards.

Ordered a £25 gift card to be sent by…

Ordered a £25 gift card to be sent by email on a particular day for a birthday present but it didn’t arrive. Had to chase ‘customer service’ only to be told ‘there was a technical problem and therefore it wasn't properly sent out. Good thing that you reached out to us’.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Tracking information showed EVRI as the courier, blank page when I clicked on the tracking link. Parcel did not arrive within the expected timeframe so contacted customer service to be told that it was actually Royal Mail. Told to log onto Royal Mail and check the tracking, which showed no movement from the date of order. This was a birthday gift, I was told that I would have to wait 7 days but could place and pay for another order whilst waiting for the update on my first order. Ridiculous.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. My parcel delivered by the unreliable Yodel was delivered to the wrong address. I was in at the time of delivery and have a ring camera. The parcel was not delivered to anyone in our building and the delivery photo doesn’t match the carpet in our building. Contacted customer service via WhatsApp and they took my details then ignored me that was 3 days ago and had nothing since. Disgraceful I spend a lot of money with the company and I’m just to accept someone else had my delivery for free

Rituals in Ealing Broadway

Avoid this branch ! Treated my daughter and her 2 friends like they were going to steal something. My daughter visited the store today with her 2 friends, one of whom wanted to purchase a gift for his mother’s birthday. They were asked to wait outside and told only 2 were allowed, bearing in mind they are young adults of 19 years old. Apparently all 3 members were very unkind and rude, almost ganging up and trying to intimidate them. Also used radio to call security. Why did this happen!? Such an upsetting experience for innocent young people. Please don’t disrespect young people and treat them like this. They were profiled and treated as if they were going to steal. Not cool. Retrain your Ealing branch. Be nice to people. You have lost a substantial sale today, Friday, March 27, 2026.
