Poor customer service
I ordered a Littmann classic III stethoscope and paid for overnight shipping this last Sunday, expecting it on Tuesday. On Monday, I received a phone call and an email that the stethoscope was out of stock and would be in stock and shipped on Tuesday. I called Redding Medical and told them I still wanted that specific stethoscope as that was the question in the email. The website did not say the specific stethoscope I ordered was out of stock. I asked for some sort of compensation and I was told that I could be refunded for the overnight shipping, pay for the standard shipping and receive it in 5-7 business days. I told the lady on the phone that I’m just asking for some compensation for the 2 day delivery since I paid for overnight shipping which was $30. I was told “I’ve already given you your options.” I asked to speak to the manager. When the manager answered, I explained the story and how I wanted compensation for the overnight shipping I paid for. The manager also stated “I believe she told you your options.” After arguing with the manager on the phone, I was credited $5. Overnight shipping is $30 and 2 day shipping is $21. I was not aware that the stethoscope was out of stock. To my knowledge, I ordered a stethoscope that was in stock and I that I would be receiving it within 1 business day. I’m not at all impressed with my experience. I have ordered 2 stethoscopes with Redding Medical and do NOT plan on ordering any other items from this company. The customer service experience was not at all pleasant.

poor customer service
This company put the wrong address on my order and then the order got lost. I called them and the customer service rep put me on hold for 7 min to discuss with a coworker, then came back and stated she didn't know what to do, had me talk to her coworker who also told me she is "just a customer service rep" and doesn't know what to do. I asked if I could speak to a manager and she said no maybe they could try to file a claim in 3-5 days because the boss is on vacation. It was very unprofessional and unhelpful. I would recommend hiring customer service representatives who can help come up with solutions and plans rather than answer phones and waste my time without even attempting to address the issue at hand.
