Excellent and proper London stay
So comfortable, felt like it was our own home, a lovely area, walkable to shops, restaurants, neighboring areas and tube stops. Comfortable beds and accommodations. Loved the decor, very much like our own home. Would stay here again, no question.

I want to give 5 stars but…
I want to give 5 stars but unfortunately our experts not perfect as the accommodation we had picked and paid for somehow became double booked and we lost our apartment with less than a week’s notice before our arrival.I do give 5 stars for the way the issue was handled with great professionalism and sympathy.

Kids at work
What a childish bunch of fools? Call them and talk to them and travel across the ocean to review and inspect potential places in London?Dirty and greasy and no freezer and bird droppings and a 66 inch ceiling and a cheap jello like mattress and three and a half flights of steps that is advertised as a walk up and bathroom that you cannot shut the door——-call for meetings and you have no shows and missed calls and apologies!Stay away Multiple pictures from different angles in different pictures and cheap and cheaper amenities—-shitty hardware and linens looking like they found them. Stay awayOverpriced and overstated so you are best advised to forget them and their sniveling kids pretending to be efficient business people.

COMMUNICATION FAILURES
We have used Plum Guide several times in recent years with a good experience but in February this year we could not get the host of our chosen London property to send us the necessary access information. After sending our arrival time, we spent four days asking but they either ignored us or asked repeatedly for our arrival time. On the fourth day, a Sunday, we asked Plum for help but the details still did not arrive and we were departing the following day. They should have made sure that we had the information by Sunday evening at the latest. On the Monday we spent a very stressful time asking both Plum and the host for the details. The host did not answer until 1030 and then they suddenly wanted identification which could have been done four days earlier. We are both in our seventies and by 1130 felt ill and felt we had to give up and abandon the trip as we had no confidence that anything would be delivered. At 1250 the host finally sent access details but it was too late by then, our health was more important. Both Plum and the host said everything was done in accordance with their policies so there was no chance of compensation or even a goodwill gesture. They were in complete denial about the stress caused, showing a complete lack of duty of care, despite their upmarket image and highly curated approach.

Beautiful apartment-great location
Our apartment was beautiful and in an amazing location! We had everything we needed and loved our stay.Plum Guide was so nice to deal with throughout the entire process, quick to respond to any questions as well as providing detailed information. We will be back!
