I had an issue with pricing.

I had an issue with pricing for my order and I reached out to the live chat feature on the app. It took a while to get an answer but Mobeen entered the chat and then helped me out pretty efficiently and was kind and helpful. Would recommend:)

Dead fish

Brought some guppies yesterday and 2 have all ready died with in a day one when putting in the tank had half a tail missing, very disappointed and waste of money

Profit before pets.

Profit before pets.After years of loyalty and weekly shopping with my dogs, i will never use this place again after a single visit to their vets.What happened would take.too long to type, but they are tried cash grab twice at the vets. Fortunately the actual vet decided against the receptionists insistence of extra procedure which saved me from over vaccinating the vets. That one veterinary encounter has ensured I will never use this place again after 20 years of loyal shopping. 2 bags of raw meat weekly.1 12kg burns dog food every 6 weeksAnd various coats and chews is what they are losing out on. Iv moved to jollyes far cheaper and better variety.

Order still not delivered

I placed an order on Monday and today is Saturday. I still don't have my order.One of my cats has Chronic Kidney Disease so has a specialist diet which cannot be bought in a supermarket. The Evri delivery was scheduled for Thursday, but didn't arrive. I received a message that it had been delayed and would arrive on Friday. It didn't. I received a notice that it had been "damaged beyond repair". Question: who repairs cat food?!I looked for a customer service email address or phone number, but there didn't appear to be either. I used the automated chatbot, but ended up going around in circles. The keywords you need are "I need to speak to a human" and I then appeared to be chatting with an actual person. A new order was apparently placed, to be delivered by DPD today, Saturday. It didn't arrive due to.....being damaged and "refused" - but not by me so I am not sure who. I have no idea what happens now. Pets At Home still haven't fulfilled my order but they have my payment, and somebody, somewhere, has an awful lot of cat food. Disappointing doesn't quite cut it. Appalling is more to the mark.

Faulty Dog Bed...

I had an issue with one of a pair of dog beds I purchased only a few weeks ago, so decided to contact Pets at Home to see what they said. I was connected to a chat and very quickly transferred to a live colleage, Mobeen, who was so professional, friendly and helpful. He solved my issue in minutes and a replacement is on it's way. I cannot fault the customer service I received today.

Stop selling pets!

Whilst I have no issues with Pets at home, I am dismayed that they still sell animals on the shop floor.Every day that animals are sold in stores, more and more are ending up abused, neglected and abandoned. And this is why:The vast majority of pet store animals come from mass-breeding "mills" with deplorable, filthy, and inhumane conditions.Buying a pet store animal means directly funding a system that treats living beings as inventory, not family.Selling animals in stores promotes impulse buying, leading to higher abandonment rates and overcrowded shelters.Adopt, don't shop. Thousands of healthy, loving, and deserving animals are waiting in shelters, while pet stores keep factory farms in business.

Rat or Mouse infestation.

I had ordered two 14kg bags of dog food, one was delivered yesterday which I thought was a bit strange as I was expecting two bags, but it was in good condition. I received the other bag today which was inside a box this time, when I opened the box and took the bag out, the kibble started pouring out of a hole on the bottom of the bag. On closer inspection, there were small teeth marks around this hole, it had obviously been damaged by Mice or Rats and yet it was still sent out to me.This tells me that they have a Rat or Mouse infestation at there ware house so I will never be ordering anything from them online again.

I had a very badly damaged order (18…

I had a very badly damaged order (18 tins dog food) the box was broken almost in half and out of 18 cans only two did not have dents. I used the customer online chat for Pets at Home and spoke with Lian, who asked me to explain what happened, I typed in all the relevant details which took a while and then realised lian must have got bored and had gone. I went through the whole process once again and got another person a lady who told me I could return the goods to PAH or send in photographs of the damage. Apparently the courier they use is always delivering damaged goods (why do PAH keep using them then ??) I found the system of online chat very frustrating and not very helpful the only saving grace was a chat with the Store Manager of Pets at Home in Staines who was able to deal with the problem promptly and with good customer service. The Purina dog food I use is only available from PAH so I will be contacting them with regard to the purchasing from PAH. May be PAH customer service would care to reimburse me for the petrol and parking to collect the replacement order.

Compassion

We had to take our dog in yesterday for what we knew would be a one way trip. We were really concerned it might be all too clinical and impersonal, but how wrong we were. The staff came out to the car, helped her in and were so kind, caring and sensitive that I felt I had to share. It’s a horrible experience, but they made it as easy as we could have hoped.
