Sold used as new.

They had decent pricing and believe it or not current stock on the items I wanted. The free shipping is slower than walking across Tennessee. They took several days to process the order before sending it on a never-ending journey to my home. Everything was fine (not great) except they sent me a used Magpul PRS Lite stock. I paid for new but unfortunately I got a re-taped box and nothing inside but a pre-dropped dirty stock. I cleaned it and it's fine but I'll not trust them again. I hadn't used them for years due to the says it's in stock issue. This will be the last time. I'll just go somewhere else, pay less and get it new faster.

Almost a month just to ship? REALLY?

Ordered some Williams pistol sight 3/18/26. Just received my second notice of a delayed shipping, now estimated to be 4/13/26. No wonder this place has such lousy reviews. I just wish I'd checked them befor ordering from this joke of a bussiness.

I’ll never order from this place again

I’ll never order from this place again. I placed the order didn’t receive any information only to receive information about my order a week later them telling me that it’s on hold mind you it was just a plastic cover for a red dot never again don’t waste your time save yourself the stress an the headache.

Complete arrogance

It's a long story of correspondence going back and fourth regarding a defective items received. But the most outrageous fact is that my last email was deleted w/o reading. Started a credit card dispute as a result. Check BBB before buying (I haven't) - they have a solid F.Update as of 04/02/2026: new email deleted w/o read as well - what a customer service!

I was a customer a few years ago but…

I was a customer a few years ago but stopped after poor service and the quality of their products fell. I recently tried again and received the Archangel stock for a 10/22. It was sold as new but it was a return. Pkg was cut open, parts and instructions were missing. I looked into returning it. Although the error was theirs, I was going to be charged $7.99 shipping to return the stock. I tried to write a review on the Optics Planet website but instead got an email stating my “review didn’t meet their guidelines.” My fault for trusting this company again—won’t be ordering from them in the future.

Incredible price and fast free delivery

I called and spoke with a live customer service rep regarding product availability. Once checked with the availability, I made an order of a Mountain Hardware down jacket on 03/20. The order was swiftly processed the same day. Received the order today 03/26 in California. Incredible price and super fast free delivery. Will buy again from OpticsPlanet.

Order cancelled AFTER PAPERWORK

Order cancelled due to a location based shipping restriction identified after the order was placed, after ID/FOID copied and sent, and after disclosure documentation printed, signed, scanned, and sent to vendor. Paperwork is all valid. Order elsewhere.

Absolutely horrendous customer service

Absolutely horrendous customer service, I’ve waited on hold for over an hour, was never issued a refund for a returned red dot, said they issued the refund but the account they issued it to was not mine! As I typed this I’ve been on hold listening to the awful guitar solo waiting music for over an hour.. don’t waste your time this company is terrible

DO NOT do business with these people

DO NOT do business with these people. You got a 50/50 shot of them getting it right, and WHEN they get it wrong, they’ll keep your money. Shady at best. I’d give them no stars if possible. They told me they couldn’t refund my money because of a web error. Which they refuse to fix!! Dishonest at best.

waited 54 days for product to arrive

waited 54 days for product to arrive. cancelled order prior to shipment and they claim to be unable to cancel. this is because even tho they claim in stock inventory they do not actually have it. terrible company terrible business model terrible customer service
