Advise not to purchase

I've had two sets of the hectagonal panels. Controllers have failed multiple times. The devices lose syncing regularly. Regardless of updates. You are then unable to repair any devices with them that have previously worked. I've nearly smashed my devices trying to re-pair with them. Absolutely useless.

fantastic company, I don't know why they get a bad rep

I love all the products, as far as I'm aware this is some of the most advanced smart home lighting out there in terms of functions and performance. I mostly use all the stuff synced with my desktop PC for gaming and watching media, in addition to a hyperhdr setup and a bunch of other lighting.there are occasional bugs in the app. I have made bug reports in the app, customer service has helped me optimize my setup, and the dev team has made improvements to the app in the year and a half I've been a customer. it's definitely more stable now. I think the occasional software bug is acceptable with cutting edge tech. I had a power supply fail, I made a warranty claim three weeks ago, and the replacement arrived today. setting the stuff up can be finicky. if you're not following directions precisely you'll probably have issues. some patience is required. I think the bad reviews are from people who expected ian easier setup and don't have a lot of patience which makes things take longer. for example if you're power cycling a device, unplug it and count to 60, then plug it in. if you plug it back in without waiting it doesn't fully reset and you make no progress, wasting time.

Received lights on time, working well

Received lights on time, delivery was good.I was worried after I read all the reviews, but the whole experience was good. I stayed informed on the delivery via the Shop-app. And the Lights are working fine and connect well to Apple Homekit.

Products never get delivered

Been waiting since placing an order for over €200 on 1st December 2025. No reply or action even after multiple emails and attempt to reach them, they just take your money and disappear like bogus startups. Do not waste your money with them, all the AI generated photos on their site do no justice.

extremely poor customer service

I have my Nanoleaf lines for about 3 years now, and 1 controller malfunctioned. So submit a ticket, all fine, then you are in a 20 mail deep conversation in how to fix it and all of a sudden all emails i sent get send back with the response "email no longer monitored". They give me a link back to the site, and need to submit a new ticket, and start the whole process over again. We where at the point of a replacement order, but somehow they sent me back to start

Dreadful Customer Service

I can find nothing constructive or positive to say about the customer service support from Nanoleaf as it is non-existent. I have been in contact with them over several weeks regarding a set of faulty garden lights that are under warranty and have had no refund or replacement. I am constantly being asked to send videos etc but to no avail. Do not use this company!

Order not received, no response, no refund

Unfortunately, I’ve had the same experience as many other customers, which suggests a troubling pattern.I contacted Nanoleaf 3 times regarding an undelivered order and received no response, no product and no refund.I am a disabled customer and was home on the delivery date. I buzzed the courier into the building, yet Canada Post left delivery notices without attempting delivery. I still have the delivery notification on my phone confirming this. Despite clearly explaining 3 times that I have accessibility limitations due to health issues and that I cannot retrieve parcels from a post office, or have anyone do so on my behalf. Nanoleaf is completely aware of this situation, yet remained unresponsive.Being ignored after such a serious failure, especially after repeatedly explaining a disability-related access issue, feels triggering, discriminatory and dismissive.Nanoleaf has left me without the product, without a refund and without any communication. They had no issue taking my money, but responding or resolving the issue appears to have been too much to ask.

UNFULFILLED ORDER AFTER THEY TOOK MY MONEY

I wish I could give Nanoleaf less than a one star. I made my order in November, and I have still not received it. It was shipped once, and due to the shipper providing incomplete information, it was returned to the shipper. Then, I was told they were out of inventory, but they would reship a replacement as soon as the item came in. The item has been back in stock, and has still not been shipped. It is February. I despair of ever getting my order filled and plan on asking my bank for a chargeback.

Ordered a Christmas special

Ordered a Christmas special, 2 kits for a reduced price. Only half the order arrived. I brought the package in the house, contacted them and explained the issue. After 3WEEKS of back and forth with help, they wanted a picture of the delivery..i brought the package in the house not knowing it was missing half the order..kept getting handed off to different people to start the process over again. I would NEVER buy from them again. It was a nightmare and support is terrible.

Lamp given to me as a present

Lamp given to me as a present, by someone who clearly hates me! looks cheap, QR code for control app doesnt work. Will be regifting to the dustbin.
