I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Movavi. The program itself might seem appealing at first, but their billing practices are extremely questionable and feel misleading.After purchasing a package, I noticed that additional add-ons—such as Movavi Effects—were included without clear consent. These extras are not truly part of the original package and require separate payment, yet the charges are automatically deducted from your account.This feels like a scam rather than a transparent subscription model. Users should be clearly informed and given explicit control over what they are paying for. Instead, it seems like hidden costs are added along the way.I would strongly advise others to be very cautious when entering payment details and to carefully check what you are actually subscribing to. Unfortunately, my experience has left me feeling misled and frustrated.

Hidden Subscription Settings
The "Free" version is okay to edit, but then you are hit with so many limitations after trying to export. Any attempt to actually test and use for free, has your video ruined with forced audio and visual adverts. Plenty of better options available.

This product is a bait and switch
This product is a bait and switch. Beware of 5 star reviews. You buy it, then all of the other features that should be included are behind paywalls. If you don't buy them, they flash an annoying pink banner in throughout all of your videos. You also cannot cancel the product through their portal. That feature conveniently does not work. You have to contact support, who never responds. Save yourself a headache and buy something else from a reputable company.

Lose the pop-ups!!!!
Great product to use but my major gripe is the constant pop-ups and attempts to sell you more stuff that often block you from using the program. If I hadn't spent so much time learning the software this would be a deal breaker for me.

BEWARE OF AUTO SUBSCRIPTIONS
Caught out by an automatic renewal of a subscription, charged twice and company refused to refund and cancel one of the subscriptions. After making a fuss I managed to get one refunded. Software is very good, but I will not renew in the future, plenty of others offer software of the same type.

I had a really frustrating experience with Movavi. The product itself is fine, but their billing practices are what ruin it.Canceling your subscription is way harder than it should be. It’s not straightforward, and it honestly feels like it’s designed to slow you down or make you give up.What really pushed this into a negative experience for me is that they billed me and refused a refund—even though I reached out the same day. No grace period, no flexibility, nothing.That kind of policy just feels wrong. If someone cancels immediately after being charged, there should be some level of understanding.Overall, I’d be very cautious before signing up unless you’re 100% sure you want to keep paying.

Scam
Scam. They offer a 14-day refund policy but refused to honor it when asked, blaming my experience on a subjective opinion when it wasn't. Disgustingly unprofessional company. Do no support.Can provide full proof and evidence that I was in fact a real customer, should Movavi decide to play the "we can't find you in our records" card in response to this.

Positive support after a DELL Data Migration failure.
Quick response, after a failed "Data-Migration" from my old desktop to my new desktop. My new Desktop now has the horsepower to deal with the high end video clips coming from the MOVAVI Video Editor. The MOVAVI team listened, realized what I was saying was a problem and quickly issued a replacement Key for the reinstall.
