My account was renewed despite cancelling. I have tried for two weeks to both get my money back or regain access. Continual chat bot responses no matter which service, email or social account I contact. In fairness some decent content within the app however the back end processes offer no help, unacceptable poorly thought through service.

Master Class is impossible to cancel. I tried to do it online, and there is no way and they charge your credit card immediately. On top of this, everything is AI. No live person, so I had to file a dispute with Pay Pal! Do not sign up. The free trial is just a way to get you hooked.

I had a yearly license, some classes were quite nice (especially if it's a topic that's brand new to you), but others were very basic and repetitive stuff. I was no longer interested in holding a license and that's where the frustration really started. You can't cancel through the app... fine. But when I try to cancel through the platform the button conveniently won't work. Some offers start popping out, but looks like Accept the offer seemed to be the only active option. I contacted the support team and looks like initially I got an AI response but in full transparency, a working day after that I got a human response with real reasoning behind my issue and my cancellation was processed. Still more painful than it should be but kudos to Joevane and the support team.

It is a pain trying to get help from support. Every time there is someone else responding without actually helping. And this is only for buying a subscrtiption. Now imagine trying to get technical support of some sort or even get a proper invoice. I'm so fed up with this. PS: don't answer this by telling me to contact support@… , this is where the hassle starts. Thanks for nothing.

Very much like a scam. My subscription has been renewed multiple times without notice. They disabled my cancellation button and makes cancellation a huge hassle. I am still waiting for their specialist to contact me.

If you wanted to learn these skills from these people IRL the class fees would be outrageous. I find this app to be excellent, constantly adding new and interesting classes. You have to be self-motivated and engaged enough to learn and participate to get the value from them.

I paid for Masterclass on 12/19/25 at $90. The charge went through and then they charged me a second time on 12/26/25 for $99.54. They are declining to reimburse me for the authorized charge of $99.54 citing that it's been over 30 days and services were rendered. No, that's a duplicate charge and fraud, not additional services. Both charges went to the same card. They are denying there is a second charge. I'm looking at two charges with two different transactions. Since they denied they did it, I'm disputing the transaction and contacting BBB to file a complaint against Masterclass and leaving a negative Yelp response. One of these will get out over the internet on their fraudulent practices.

Subscribed to the basic package, i have to say rather disappointing , level of in depth knowledge and options on content are superficial. The more useful and classes with certifications all cost quite bit extra , adding up quickly . You may invest in specific courses on other platforms like coursera etc which give more specific knowledge with better recognition. I cancelled my subscription after 3 days of browsing nothing that triggered deeper interest.

They could not provide any correct invoice, only a random email in it, and that's it. The platform itself is really nice, but customer support and invoicing is ridiculous, even I passed through the "buy for business" flow. Nothing changed after it and I still had the same useless invoice. If you are a business and care about the documents, pass by this platform since they will never do it for you.UPD: for Masterclass response - I had already contacted your support and this is basically what you answered me “we could not change the invoice” and that’s why you are issuing the invoice for a random emails which enough from your point of view 🥲
