Got a ride from Niagara Falls to Toronto Pearson airport worst experience ever, first driver asked if wanted to go on the toll road we said no but took the road aways. Then my wife forgot her cell phone in the vehicle but long store short the driver charged us $150 cash to come back to give us her cell phone, all while we were being told from HR that they will pay him for the return item as well Will never use this service again

I wanted to have my account and data deleted, but could not do so on the app. The option is on the app but it does not work. I talked to an agent on the chat function on the app, but he said he could not help me. He told me he will transfer me to a specialist who can help me. I was on hold for more than two hours with no further help or assistance from Lyft. I never used them for any rides nor was I ever a driver for them. I feel that they stole my information (personal, banking, credit cards etc.) and selling it to 3rd parties. I will now report them to BBB, the police and the government department that has authority over them. I can never recommend Lyft to anyone.

Better than Uber but after 9.5 years I assure you they’ll stiff you as a driver in a heartbeat if they can and don’t respond to support messages about not getting paid with anything logical.

Took two rides with lift (one in Feb., one in March 2026). I frequently receive email discounts (one was a max. of $10, one a max. of $5). Both times the discount was selected but not applied for the ride. There seems to be no way to get this discount applied, either thru LYFT HELP or the original payment method used. Is this a LYFT Scam ?LYFT is unapproachable and unattainable for this service. I've tried five different phone numbers-all useless (631-201-LYFT, 415-230-2905, 855-865-9553, 844-554-1297, 415-767-5968).LYFT owes me $15 USD!

I'd give a zero if I could. The driver accused me of leaving a liquid mess in her car. Something I never did. I had no food or drink on me. Lyft charges me 75$ for the drivers cleaning cost. They would not listen to me. When I said I had no food or drink. They said they stand behind the drivers picture submitted. I'm responsible for the charge. I filed a fraud claim with PayPal. Telling my side of things and submitting my proof I was not in the wrong. PayPal got me a refund. Won't be using Lyft anymore.

Without telling me they charged me $20 to return a phone I left in the car after I notified the guy within five minutes. It was an eight dollar ride and they charged me 20 just to bring back my phone and I gave the guy $10 cash for bringing it back. No one said anything about a $20 charge. I’m on a fixed income and because it overdrafted my account I will not be able to eat for a week. This is a shit company.

Our Lyft driver arrived promptly to pick up 3 of us up while visiting from out of the country. First 2 passengers got seated and doors were closed. Our 3 passenger a 60year old female was entering the back seat... 1 foot in and the driver pulled away abruptly... my wife (60 year old) was pushed from the car and gravel burned across her legs and arms .Reported this incident to Lyft immediately... was told someone will call us tomorrow to further discuss. It was 10pm on Sunday evening fully understandable. Monday csme and went... no call!!!Not a concern in the world about my wife's condition after the driver drove away on her and left with 5+ gashes in her knees and legs... road rash!!! I wish I could share a photograph. We've since tried to follow up... pathetic Customer Service...have been disconnected 3 times... over an hour trying to reconnect. So FRUSTRATING!!!at the end we were given an $18 future credit to use with Lyft... expires in 60days. PATHETIC

After calling for a Lyft ride, and being charged, the driver never showed up. When I texted with him to see what was going on, he ignored me. He then tried to add a $5 wait charge. Lyft never refunded the money and as far as I'm concerned, this is nothing but theft. This happened more times than I can count. I finally decided never to use the service anymore. I don't need it.

My daughter, who is no longer uses LYFT, recommended this service as opposed to a regular taxi cab service here in Edmonton, AB. I used them twice to take me to and from the auto shop where I was getting my vehicle repaired. I was actually surprised and delighted the driver arrived quicker than expected and they got to me and from my destination in appropriate time without taking the scenic route that most taxi cabs like to take you on. Great! Now I thought I found a more secure dependable ride service I can rely on? Keep in mind when you sign up to their app they take your credit/debit card information and charge your card the minute you're done your ride, with tip, no problem, convenient right? Well...guess what? A week later they charged my card again for the two trips I already made to the auto repair shop, including tip!And there's no way to get a hold of them whatsoever to dispute the repeated charges. They send you messages all the time but it’s a no reply email address.I called my bank (CIBC) and this character told me this is just a formality they do and its temporary and they will refund your withdrawal within seven days. NOTHING! They're in on the take too! DON'T USE LYFT IN EDMONTON, ABIt's a SCAM!
