Unexpected $479 Auto-Renewal – No Refund Even When Contacted Immediately
Buyer beware of auto-renewal policies.I was recently charged $479.88 for a yearly auto-renewal with LuxAlgo that I was not expecting. I had not been actively using the service and did not intend to continue the subscription.I contacted their support within 30 minutes of the charge to request a refund, but they declined and pointed to their renewal policy.In my opinion, a company should stand behind its product and work with customers—especially when someone reaches out immediately after being charged for something they did not intend to use. Charging customers for a service they are not using, and refusing to make it right, is frustrating and disappointing.If you’re considering LuxAlgo, make sure you fully understand their renewal terms, because you may not receive a refund even if you act quickly.Just sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision.
