Professional Misconduct and Warranty Fraud - LG Egypt

reporting a severe violation of LG’s Global Quality Standards by LG Egypt regarding Case #sozannasr29. My washer has a clear Material Failure (Gasket Degradation) within the warranty period, yet LG Egypt refused a physical inspection and demanded payment over the phone, claiming "misuse" without seeing the device. This is a direct violation of consumer rights and LG's global warranty policy. I demand an immediate technical investigation by LG Global HQ.

Horrible service and products

Bought LG appliances and electronics for our home because we thought they was good. Well they are NOT! The fridge went to crap within 4 years and we tried to get it covered thru warranty. Set up a service call and paid like $500! The so called verified contractor canceled the contract order LG demands we pay the $500 again to get the service. We are not…then the customer service team said they would have their higher team call me they have yet to call. Food ruined and now we have to buy another fridge smh customer service is everything and Lg fails highly on this. Should have went with GE

Flat rate repairs are a SCAM

Flat rate repairs are a SCAM. Worked with one provider for almost two months, LG kept sending them the wrong part. The last tech dispatched determined the issue had been misdiagnosed and was going to order what was actually needed. Ticket was closed with no communication and I was charged for a repair that was never completed. Refund denied. I can only (maybe) book with a different provider under their “warranty”. How can you claim it’s “warranty” for something that was never actually completed. The first agent I talked to at LG also yelled, whined, talked over me and was 100% unprofessional even though I was being professional - I had to de-escalate him!!! Probably just going to replace this piece of garbage with a different brand. I’m over it.

Can't believe I spent over £1.5k on an LG G Series OLED TV and they have the cheek to put ads on my home screen. Disgusting this is supposed to be a premium product

My LG refrigerator was overheating

My LG refrigerator was overheating, so I called the LG toll-free number and a service visit was arranged.A technician named Jidhendran visited my home and claimed that the backside fan motor needed replacement. He quoted ₹;3, 650, which I paid via GPay on 16-Nov-2025.Later, I discovered the following:The technician was NOT from an official LG service centerThe service was handled by a third-party vendor.After receiving the payment, the technician stopped responding to calls and messagesDetails(for awareness):Technician Name: JidhendranTechnician Contact:+91 81228 - 10262I realized I was misled and cheated by a third-party service provider.👉 Important Advice:Always verify that the technician is from the official LG service centre.Do not make direct payments to third-party technicians.Insist on official receipts and service job IDsBe cautious, even if the service is arranged after calling a toll-free number.Sharing this for everyones awareness so others dont face the same issue.

Faulty product, repeated repairs, no resolution

Really tired of these big greedy companies producing utter garbage and selling it for a prime price. I purchased the LG washer/dryer in 2023. It broke the first time within 3 months. Then it kept on showing errors every other month. I had their service guy coming in 3 times and basically saying I should only wash one t-shirt at a time... Which is frankly stupid and unrealistic (since every household has to wash towels and bed linens etc). After a short while the LG support stopped responding. Recently the machine broke completely showing the same error and refusing to do anything. The support is useless.I tried returning the machine before my warranty expired but as I said they are useless.Avoid avoid avoid.Honestly I'd recommend buying a cheaper brand since now the standard is that you have to replace something you used to buy for 20 years every 2-3 years. No point paying premium or bother with quality at all.And since I'm on a rouse I'll add that I'm tired of the green bs when companies like LG produce garbage that will go to the landfill after 2-3 years in some insane amounts that no consumer will produce in their lifetime.On top of that, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and last a reasonable length of time. Given that this machine began failing within months and has required multiple unsuccessful repair attempts, it absolutely does not meet any standards.Looking for ways to make them accountable.Do not recommend.

Poor product customer service

Absolutely shocking customer service and product reliability £1600 TV barely 5 years old and power board goes pop, this is a known issue and problem and they offer a free replacement service but not for my TV model number It’s known problem All over the internet but they still won’t honour it absolutely shocking I’ve worked out the TV has cost me £25 pmExpect it to last more than 5 years that’s for sure WORD OF ADVICE DONT BY LG AS THEY ARE DISHONEST

Reliable products and great technology

I’ve had a very positive experience with LG products. The quality and design are excellent, and their technology is very reliable.The devices are easy to use and the performance is consistently good. I also like the modern design and the attention to detail in their products.Overall, LG is a brand I trust and I would definitely recommend it to others looking for quality electronics.

LG CX 65 inch fails after 4 years due to a common issue…

Bought a LG CX 65 inch about 4 years ago.power unit of TV fails; doesn't hold standby mode and shut off completely from power so impossible to start the TV without pulling the plug every time. Contacted LG Belgium. Weeks of emails to hear that the offer a repair for at least 400 euro's + transport. Refused that because I better invest that 400 in a new TV but another brand which is more reliable because the internet was FULL of reviews with that exact problem. I would have accepted to do the install myself if they would send me the part but they just didn't want to support in any way. So if you want to spend 1800 euro for a TV which lasts only 4 years without serious problems be my guest. I move on to another brand...
