Yoga 2-in-1 Poor Quality

I bought the 16-inch (Yoga 7 2-in-1 16IML9 - Type 83DL) laptop, but the 45% NTSC screen is functionally unusable, and something like 300 nits which basically can't be seen in most environments. That level of brightness is effectively useless. The reflective screen in combination with low brightness and poor quality of the screen causes a mirror effect which makes the situation vastly worse. It's almost a scam. The fairly low resolution compounds this, as well as the low contrast, making my eyes strain under normal use. Drawing on the tablet, much less, reading is difficult and painful. The colors can not be seen well, as alluded to before, so the whole point of a tablet is moot. What is the point of this device? Even the keyboard design allows for immediate debris jamming, which is absurd, considering that when you fold it into the tablet form, the keyboard is in contact with other surfaces. There was a tiny piece of debris of some kind that apparently must have gotten under the Enter key, causing it to not work. This is a VERY CRUCIAL KEY to use the computer! I barely was able to dislodge it by partially prying up the key, but it still feels a bit unresponsive.Frustratingly, the poor screen quality is designed to make you HAVE TO purchase a laptop that is over double the price to get a sufficient screen. Why are there no other options? I really hate this exploitation and will never buy from Lenovo again, and warn others of this. We used to buy MANY of their Thinkpad laptops and other devices for decades, way back when it was by IBM even.Regardless of whether it's technically stated on the product spec page, nobody is going to expect this poor quality and brightness, unless that is what Lenovo wishes to be known for. It would be a very small price to simply manufacture the laptops with decent screens instead of purposefully sabotaging them to up-sell the higher priced "premium" model. Why would I buy sabotaged products? To top it off, Lenovo’s backend registration (SAP) is broken, throwing NUMBER_GET_NEXT errors, leaving me with a machine I can't even register for the warranty I paid for. I've tried multiple times already and simply wasted more of my life with this.

Hello Sir/Ma’am,

Hello Sir/Ma’am,I hope you are doing well. I am reaching out to you with a lot of hope regarding my Lenovo LOQ laptop issue.I purchased this laptop around 2 months ago with great difficulty, but unfortunately, I have been facing continuous issues since then. The keyboard has already been replaced 3 times and the motherboard once, yet the problem is still not resolved. This situation has been extremely stressful for me and has affected me mentally as well. Despite multiple complaints and follow-ups, I am still waiting for a proper resolution.I kindly request your help in escalating my case and providing a fair solution, preferably a replacement. It would mean a lot to me.Case ID: 2029746609Thank you for your time and support.Regards,Amit

Premium Care?

My 2026 Lenovo service experience (UK) has been terrible. I have an 18-month-old Legion Pro 7 16IRX9H that has undergone two failed onsite repairs. First, the wrong thermal paste was used during a heatsink replacement. Then, a faulty refurbished motherboard was installed alongside another new heatsink, and too much liquid metal was applied.Neither technician knew how to correctly apply liquid metal. The first technician ended up using standard paste, and the second technician used an entire tube of LM just on the CPU.Customer Care had already escalated the case to EMEA between the repairs (after the first failure, but before I discovered during the second visit that the first technician had not used liquid metal).EMEA repeatedly insisted on a depot repair despite my Onsite Premium Care warranty. Since I declined this, they have now closed the case. EMEA leaned heavily on the "discretion" implied in the warranty terms and conditions, and they would not acknowledge or discuss any of the concerns I raised.EMEA will not speak to you and they will now ignore everything you put in an email and simply respond to it with a slightly reworded version of their previous email repeating exactly the same thing.Fantastic!

Lenovo Vantage

I have an issue with Lenovo Vantage. Every day I set the Charging to Conservation mode, but if I restart the computer without unplugging the charger it immediately switches to Rapid Charge. This is annoying, and it really is NOT what I am paying for. I am pretty sure that if I use ChatGPT and online resources I can look deep into my laptop and find what the problem is... but that's not what I am paying for.

Don't buy tech if you plan to use it for more than 3 years

I am currently typing this out on a Lenovo tablet , and I must admit it has some pretty cool features , like split screen and some other cool knacks to it but there are some major difficulties I have experienced in owning this for 2.5 years . 1. It's so glitchy and crashes constantly , sometimes I will go to type something and it won't process I'm typing for another 2 minutes and just freeze and crash , sometimes I open a new app and boom , my screen is frozen and if I try to restart the tablet it'll just glitch in and out for about 3 minutes before finally deciding to turn off.2. it's abilities to pick up internet signal is equivalent to a monkey trying to dress up as a human , when you first connect you see your thing on 4 bars and think it's great , as soon as you get onto the app you want it immediately drops to 1 bar or no bars and the app will obviously not load . My siblings with Apple do not have the same problem and the internet router is perfect.3. if your device gets hacked or crashes , trying to sign back into your device is a nightmare , for us it lasted 4 days and it kept taking us back in the same loophole of signing into Microsoft and clear data.

I would have given Lenovo zero stars…

I would have given Lenovo zero stars with regards to my customer service experience. It all started with my mistake, not putting in appartment number in one of my purchases.... The problem starts here; the representative advised me to make another order of the same product, which would allow them to delete the past order. I am doing this, then the agent tells me they can't do it themselves, they transfer me to someone else. The second agent, told me they couldn't find the purchase number and I had to wait 24-48 hours until it appears in their system, to contact them so they can delete the first order. Guess what; one hour later both orders go under status "Ship". I contact them, and they tell me once the order is shipped they cannot cancel it. I had to receive it and make a return, which was a buraucratic nightmare. Overall, a terrible experience and not purchasing again anything from them.

Avoid this terrible company.

I want to tell you about the situation I found myself in with this terrible company.Since my son is starting university this year, my wife and I decided to give him a gift: a laptop. I placed an order and waited for delivery. On the day of delivery, I discovered that my order had been delivered to an unknown person named "Puca". I immediately reported this to Lenovo customer support on the website. They told me they could either refund my money or reorder it for me free of charge, but I'd have to wait 15 days for them to investigate. Since I had no choice, I kindly agreed, knowing the company itself wasn't to blame, as the courier service UPS was entirely at fault. So the other day, I decided to ask them if they had any news about my undelivered order. I received a shocking response: "Your order was delivered to the correct address and received by you. There's nothing we can do about it, thank you!" I was stunned by this response, as the delivery confirmation clearly stated that someone named "Puсa" received the order, and that my name was Federico Ostin. They didn't care, giving me the same answer to all my inquiries and refusing to help me with my order. I decided to contact UPS to find out where they delivered my order. A few days later, I received an official response from UPS stating that they had investigated and confirmed that my order had been delivered to the wrong address, meaning it was lost, and recommended that I contact Lenovo. I did, but they again told me they weren't interested and wouldn't take any action.Bottom line, I recommend everyone avoid this company. They won't help you, even if everything indicates you haven't received your order. Terrible company, terrible customer service. I don't recommend them!

My monitor arrived and it would not…

My monitor arrived and it would not turn on. I returned for an exchange and the shipment date has changed 4x. I need this device to work and have started the refund process apparently a new case number and yet more time.

Order from Lenovo.com (Canada) at your own peril

Generally, I've held Lenovo computers in high regard. I've bought/used Lenovo's business computers over many years and found them to be reliable and long-lasting.That being said I think their ordering/fulfillment from the lenovo.com (Canada) side is simply horrendous. If you place an order on lenovo.com, it's a crap shoot as to whether the order will ever be fulfilled. Expected fulfillment dates pass and there is no accountability by the company to update them. Your order sits in no-man's land hoping that someone at Lenovo notices, and updates it. Or you can try calling in to their support site only to receive the answer that they can't answer your question but they'll reach out to the warehouse to get you an answer in 24 hours. The answer of course never comes and you're forced to call in again and again only to get the same answer each time. Now if you have the bright idea of cancelling your order online, don't count on doing that either. Once the order is in the system, Lenovo won't let you cancel it. You need to call in yet again to have one of their internal agents cancel it for you. Now if you were dealing with a "modern" company, you would think that when you go to cancel an order, they would try to upsell/sidesell you on an equivalent machine that is ready to ship. But no, that's not the case. You need a computer now... too bad for you.Save your time and peace of mind and just buy a different brand of laptop. Lenovo is NOT the laptop droids you are looking for.
