LendKey is #1!
I've had a fantastic overall experience using the LendKey service. When I was looking to refinance my student loans some years back, LendKey was the only company that provided me with what I felt was a reasonable, low interest rate that significantly reduced the amount of interest I was set to pay. Their "no-frills", simple interface reflects a commitment to maximizing value for both their institutional and borrower partners. I love that this service connects borrowers with small financial institutions across the country that they wouldn't have known about or been able to do business with otherwise. I highly recommend LendKey as the absolute first place anyone should look when exploring refinancing if you want transparent business practices & a low interest rate.

Worked with me to find the perfect loan
I love how they worked with me to get the right loan. They did not approve my first application or two, but rather then restarting everything, they kept working with me to find the lowest interest that will work. I have not had that with other companies.

This is the WORST experience I have…
This is the WORST experience I have EVER had!! THEY ARE RUINING PEOPLE'S FINANCES. First of all, my most recent qualm is them double charging me. Their system DOES NOT notify you via email when your payment is PENDING. I paid my loan on a Friday October 3rd. My co-signer and I got a notification on the 7th that I had not paid yet and my loan was delinquent. I go to the account and the payment from the 3rd IS NOT NOTED ANYWHERE. I make the payment AGAIN. THEY TOOK BOTH PAYMENTS OUT OF MY ACCOUNT!! MIND YOU, my loan payment is $943. NINE HUNDRED FORTY-THREE DOLLARS. AND THEY CHARGED ME TWICE. To make matters WORSE, I called and they told me I could apply it to the loan or get a refund. I requested a refund. They STILL have not refunded me, I have no email about it or anything. I am LIVID! ON TOP OF THAT, I only get paid once a month on the last day of the month and my payment is on the 15th. I have requested to have it changed, but I have to clear the $943 twice in the month before I can change it. I have HAD IT! I have a whole $79,000 before I can even get rid of them because no other company will take that big of a loan. Thank goodness I have my cosigner to advocate for me!

very quick in approving refinance loan. Every step was explained carefully and the guide on how to submit documents needed was clear and easy to upload for the most parts.
