I have ordered from them a few times, never had any issues until recently when an item was missing and asked for a replacement or refund. I've been told that it has been escalated to a senior manager and get a response in 1-3 business days. I had this answer every time I emailed them that nothing happened, and finally when agreed to have a refund, no one seems to be looking into it. This has been going back and forth the last 2-3 month. Never been more disappointed!!! Never going to order again and be aware if you think about doing it!!!

Ordered well above the minimum amount to receive free gift package. On checkout, there was no place to apply the discount code to get it. Emailed immediately and 2 days later received an email stating it was too late for it to be added as my order had been processed. Automatic notification stating that order had been processed arrived a week later so something isn't adding up. Won't be purchasing from again after feeling like I was scammed.

I'm surprised to see negative reviews because I don't have enough good things to say. My items arrived fast and are so beautiful, I got SO many freebies by using a code, and I'm extremely happy with everything!

I ordered 3 masking tapes, 1 sticker roll, and a set of 50 Snoopy stickers and the quality of all of them is AMAZING. I was genuinely so pleased with everything.I also got a phone charm and a Miffy hair clip. The quality on these two wasn’t absolutely perfect, but they’re still super pretty and I love how they look. The phone charm had a slight plastic smell at first, but it faded after a while.Shipping took 14 days to arrive at my house. I was honestly a bit nervous because I had seen a lot of negative reviews on Trustpilot, but everything turned out way better than expected. Overall, I love what I got and wouldn’t hesitate to order from here again!

In November’25 I placed an order that was over $145 and was supposed to receive a 20 piece mystery box free. Well I received my order minus 2 of the more expensive items that I had paid for, and then to top off the disappointment the 20 item box was missing 3 items!. When I contacted the store on the 29/11/25 to tell them I was missing at least 5 items, I was told that it was a matter of what was available in stock at the time. That I could probably understand IF they weren’t continuing to advertise the 20 pieces free! When I pointed this out I was told they would have to consult their supervisor. There was no mention of the fact that I had purchased items which they had failed to deliver. I then waited a month to hear back, nothing. I contacted them again at the end of December and was told they were extremely busy and they would get to my request for a replacement for the missing items. It is now the 02/02/2026 and still NOTHING! This is the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. Don’t trust Kawaii Pen Store! Otherwise you might as well just stick your wallet in a post pack and send it to them so they can just help themselves…..

So sad. For perhaps 50p more spent on decent lining fabric and 50p working out a better production process , my Totoro shoulder bag would have been perfect. Plenty of pockets. Great colour and size. But the lining is almost plastic and is incompletely sewn. I like a challenge and kniw that I won't get any customer care so I've reinforced the entire base internal seam with glued tape. If you buy this bag but be prepared to finish it off yourself! 3 star review given so it will be posted

SCAM do not order - did not receive all items ordered and unable to secure a refund although I reached out to customer service via email. I had to submit a "clear photo" of the items I did receive, but they won't refund the item that did not ship out. They charge in full before your order is even processed, so you are charged for all items even if they don't all ship.

Unfortunately, the cute calculator I purchased as a treat for myself didn't work when I put the battery in, and after sending video proof to the company and asking for a replacement they just ghosted me and stopped replying. Very disappointing as they are flooding my socials with ads still for the same product.

I don't know if anyone else has come across this, but what alerted me to scammy behaviour was that I was adding items to my cart and it kept saying $x until free shipping, so I added a couple of more items thinking I may as well get these extra things for the same amount as the shipping would have been. Then once I reached the required amount, it still said I was eligible for free shipping for my country (including in the small print), but added on a mandatory $25 shipping fee. This fee was added into my cart before I was even allowed to select shipping, plus further down the cart it was the only shipping option provided. I'm so glad I refused to pay that amount of shipping, because it prompted me to check reviews and find out that the items they sell are actually low quality. I was fooled by their name into thinking they were a Japanese company and the prices also fooled me that they were quality items. Very happy to remove the items from my cart and never shop here! UPDATE: I emailed them to ask about the shipping fee and they answered that they had changed the free shipping rules for 'some countries' (even though the small print still stated my country was included) - I imagine they say this to anyone who questions it.

Placed an order, got an email that the 2 x items were out of stock and was offered a store credit. I asked for a refund as the items could not be provided - have been ghosted, it's now been over 1 month, no refund and no resolution. Absolutely appalled.
