I received incorrect items from my order. I immediately sent the company and email correcting them. NO APPROPRIATE RESPONSE. I'M PRETTY SURE THAT NO ONE ACTUALLY EVEN READ MY EMAILS. I'VE PAID FOR ITEMS THAT I DO NOT WANT. THEY ARE STILL IN THE PACKAGING. I'M OLD AND ON A FIXED INCOME. $40 for an ugly nightgown is a big waste of money to me. DO NOT SHOP HERE. YOUR WELCOME.

Same cardigan on Temu I bought for £13!! Joe B's price £60!!!! RIP OFF!!

They look great the Joe Browns clothing - very colourful etc. But the quality on too many of their clothes is poor. But my biggest complaint are their high prices for cheaply made clothing. In their latest catalogue V2 (March 2016) they are selling for £60 a Mens Stripe Cardigan (code MK403a), the exact same cardigan I purchased online from Temu December 2024 for £13!!! Identical garment for £47 more!! This is not the first time either. Also on a separate point - their male model - the ridiculously heavily tattooed bearded man with a bald tattooed head is quite unpleasant to me & I am sure many others. JB have used him for ages so they must like him! Well it puts me right off. As do their rip off prices for low quality (in the main) clothes.

Joe Browns women collection

My husband absolutely loves Joe Browns, and I have to say the men’s collection is great. Every season he finds several pieces he wants, and at this point his wardrobe almost looks like a Joe Browns showroom. The men’s clothes feel stylish, cool, unique and quite current, which is why we keep coming back. What I’ve always found a bit confusing is the women’s collection. Whenever I try to buy something for myself, the style feels completely different. While the men’s pieces feel modern and cool, the women’s clothes often look quite dated or a bit “mumsy”.It’s a shame, because if the women’s range had the same vibe as the men’s collection, my wardrobe might start looking like a Joe Browns showroom too.Joe Browns , if you’re reading this, please bring some of that same cool design energy to the women’s collection. I’d love to shop here for myself as well!

Poor product quality and service recovery

Product broke before I end wore it. So very poor product quality, and offered a £7.50 voucher as a 'gesture of goodwill'. I wanted to purchase another item to replace the broken one, which was £15. I asked them to use the 'gesture of goodwill' voucher and I would pay the extra £7.50. Instead, they sent me a £7 gesture of goodwill voucher and advised me that the item I wanted to replace it, was out of stock. It wasn't. Just a terrible experience. Too many cooks involved in resolving the issue.

Marketing mailing

After purchasing an item some time ago I have been inundated with catalogues which I have been unable to stop. I have contacted them on 5 occasions requesting they cease sending marketing to me and eventually in Nov 2025 I passed full details to the Information Commissioners Office who will be investigating for breach of the data protection act. They are not a company I would ever choose to purchase from again.

Administrative financial incompetence

I inadvertently ordered three of the same item. I had difficulty getting through to Joe browns by phone and my credit card company insisted that I seek reimbursement from them direct. After 4 days I received a call from them stating that the original order had been cancelled and I’d been reimbursed. However I was not reimbursed with the surplus (£130) but charged with this !! So I am now owed £260. And guess what - I cannot get through to them by phone. I shall not be using this company again

Ordered Navy Polka Dot Skirt £50.00…

Ordered Navy Polka Dot Skirt £50.00 Happy with delivery and quality of material however disappointed as there was no indication in either the market photos or description that the skirt had a frill around the bottom. Looking at the des description and seeing it on the model I could not see the frill the product just looked an A line skirt therefore would not have ordered it.

VERY early cut off for "express" delivery

Some lovely clothes but customer service that lacks professionalism. I spent a significant amount with JB over the past week, for all three orders the tracking was not working (apparently an Evri problem, but one that persisted with 3 deliveries over the week!)Staff on the "helpline" seem to assume that customers can just be at home waiting each and every day. Many of us work for a living and need advance notice for being able to take a delivery.I paid for "express" delivery not realising the VERY early cut off point of 3pm for next day delivery. MY fault for not reading this but it is very unusual compared to say NEXT (Midnight cut off). When I raised this with the call handler I was met with "we are a small company and not as big as NEXT or AMAZON!" - I had never mentioned Amazon. Rather odd comment. It was the lack of botherdness - the oh it might be there tomorrow, it might be there Monday. I cannot tell you know you need to ring up and track in the morning (except I can predict the tracking will still not be working). For me to be home tomorrow I need to take leave today. I will pack all my orders up and send them back. Whilst nice clothes, that is pointless if the service is so shoddy. A small company which clearly remains very limited on the ability to have a decent cut off point for next day delivery. Not surprised to see the rating on 2.9/5 - clearly not just me disappointed.
