Dishwashwer Soderboda

No program will start. After it tries to initiate any program a few times, an E1 error is displayed. There is NO information about any error in the booklet. Based on own research on chatgpt, an error E1 normally is linked to water supply. Can't be the installation, cos the 1st month it worked just fine. Called Ikea to see what we can do, they said a technician can look at it, but of course it is a 3rd party, CE Repair Services. So far, disappointed company to work with. The earliest appointment was in 3 weeks after I 1st contacted them. The day arrived when the technician should come by, and in the morning of that same day, they cancelled my appointment. So I have to do a new one, this time in 2 and a half weeks. The overall experience with Ikea is quite poor. It is your device that's broken, you should be doing all the administration to get it fixed. If you can, avoid Ikea, if you can't avoid Ikea, avoid buying this dishwasher.

Waited around for an hour at collection point for my slot. No update on the tracking. Finally called Customer Service to be told it was never loaded on the van in the first place so wouldn’t be coming. Absolute waste of time, won’t bother in future

No more IKEA for me

Very disappointed in my most recent visit and decided that's me finished with IKEA. It was never the best quality but it was cheap and reliable and at least not all made in Asia.Having visited yesterday I was extremely disappointed that pretty much everything was made in China now. Even items I had bought a few years ago had changed from Europe to Chinese. Out of the 5 items I really wanted I only bought one as it was made in Germany. It is by far the worst quality IKEA item I have built. There are large defects on the surface and it sits slanted. The online support is a joke and just not worth my time pursuing further. To add insult to injury they don't stock Daim chocolates any more and the lingonberry juice tastes awful now. May sound petty but IKEA was an experience on top of actually buying furniture but it is a shadow of its former self.

I exhausted myself before I even got…

I exhausted myself before I even got into the shop trying to find the trolleys and then work out how to get the trolley to the top floor when the lift only goes up to the first floor, only to have someone steal the trolly from under my nose as I was reading the Ikea user manual on the wall, which made no sense, so i gave up on the trolley and innocently took the 2nd lift to the 2nd floor, I already felt like i was in some cleverly arranged maze. There were no trolleys on the 2nd floor because you dont buy things, you just look at them apparently and follow the glowing arrows on the floor that lead through miles of beautiful mock rooms all the way to the reataurant which sits smuggly like the prize in the middle of the parcel. You have to eat there because you have walked miles and still havent bought anything and at this stage you need sustenance. You dont buy things on the top floor but instead note down swedish names and numbers of the items you might want to buy if you ever get out, on a scrap of provided paper in the palm of your hand with a measly whip of a pencil, much like the Easter treasure hunt, except for that you always get a free packet of sweets. And I know that now because I asked a lady staff member where to buy a bowl and i was told there would be lots of bowls and everything to buy on the level below. Sadly the one thing i really wanted to buy which was a simple metal bar on which to hang ties in a wardrobe, wasn't on display anywhere. Nor was it on the level below, it was in the warehouse on the level below that apparently amongst hundred of racks of flat packed houses and i was to search on the Internet on a computer provided, to find it, i was to write down the number and then go down to the warehouse and find the area, the isle, the row, the section, the number, the packet and the label, except the staff lady didnt tell me that she just threw out some words that you might understand if you were in the Ikea Family and knew the lingo, she did this with a sort of twitchy curl to her lip that made me feel she might have recent canine ancestry so i backed away carefully and worked it out for myself. How delightful indeed then, although slightly suspicious, to sit down and enjoy the famous Swedish meatballs, all 12 of them, like tiny gobstoppers, before embarking again on what was now a day shopping rather than a pop, and felt a bit like being at work rather than being on holiday. In the shopping level below I found Staff were insulting and unhelpful with the assumption that if you dont know then you shouldn't be in there. Well i wouldnt have been in there if id have known, but that was lost on them. I asked a staff member, correction, I opened my mouth to ask a staff member if there were any lids for the tupperware tubs but before more than the first 2 words were politely spoken she literally, honestly, shouted at me 'NO!'and continued to shout, that they were out of stock, all of them, she had none!' Shouted! I didnt bother to ask if i might find out when they would be back in stock or how she even knew i wanted lids, I figured id live longer without them. At the tills, having followed Alice through the tunnels, finally, the young girl was friendly, perhaps you are designed to leave happy, but she charged me for 4 items when I only bought 3 so that didnt work out for them this time. I left at last feeing strangely triumphant that i had escaped. I would not pop to Ikea again, its not really a shop you can pop to, nor would I want to, and Ive experienced most of their furniture anyway, falling apart, chip board chips and screws tear out and dont go in again and it all generally sags and dissolves. I shall buy proper furniture made of proper wood sold by proper people in a proper shop without meatballs and from staff with manners and kindliness and it won't need a tupperware lid and there will be no shouting

IKEA SUCK It's not getting any better!!!

It's not getting any better!!!Arrived around 6:20 today (Fri).Looking for a mirror but decided to have a meal with family.Only one side of the serving station open and a long queue. Initially pass the cake area but no plates, not that it mattered much as no cakes either!. Wife found a choice of one on the top shelf so waded through this ridiculous hearded pen system to go and find plate and found the last soup bowl. Found my way through the narrow pen back to my family. Now we get to service, got it wrong twice. Dished up again and now no loganberry thingy sauce as its now near the till were told. Now at the till and have to ask again. But did manage to move a plastic tray to obtain two coffee cups. FILTHY. This isnt the first time ive brought this up. So around 40ft away there is one pump with a queue. Finally get to the pump area and everyone is trying to split those little paper cups. So now I have my "well handled by the masses" paper cup I find the machine won't give out sauce. Found out afterwards the bag was put in upside down. Whilst waiting i went and filled coffee cup, tried the milk machine, empty. So was milk machine 2 and 3. No4 kindly gave me some milk.So by the time I get my meal to the dirty table its cold. Suspect it was only luke warm when served to start with. Could my night get any worse? Hell yeah.We took a pic of the tag fastened to the mirror on the display wall. And went to what we thought was collecting point. Couldn't find it. Put the number in the cust help point and its not for a mirror its curtains.Read details on card and yes its the wrong label. So back to machine and find it, collect it and head for the till. But your not allowed to escape that easy, oh no. Whilst staring at many isles of checkouts showing Closed, we unwillingly waited 20mins to pay. If I had the energy, I would ho back and film this chaos but think would need some medical help to help me through. If I could leave a 0 I would.Ikea your food rating should be questioned on cleanliness and temperature issues. Never again.

missing item and nobody does not understand the issue

I paid around 100 CHF for home delivery because I cannot collect the items myself. Unfortunately the delivery today was incomplete and damaged.• The BILLY height extension unit (902.638.60) was not delivered at all.• The BILLY height extension unit (402.638.53) arrived damaged.I tried to report this through the IKEA claim page and the chat system, but the system does not allow me to select the missing item and the chat bot does not understand the issue. This has taken a lot of time and energy and the system makes it very difficult to report a simple delivery problem. Please arrange:delivery of the missing itemreplacement for the damaged itemOrder number: 1591868288

Post purchase customer service non-existent!

Ordered a (expensive) fridge/freezer, arrived with shelf broken, sent photos immediately, told to get onto Whirlpool who said back to IKEA. Back to IKEA told again to get onto Whirlpool who sent email saying IKEA responsibility and when I sent that back to IKEA they said could not help. I am now left without a shelf in my new fridge/freezer! So annoyed as all my house is IKEA and 6 phone calls and 5 emails a waste of my time too. Never again buying from them!

Consignment re ordered 3 times…still not arrived.

I placed an order 18 days ago that had a £10.00 delivery charge consignment never arrived, telephoned customer services who informed me that it was lost in transit and reordered, second consignment never arrived, customer services informed me it was never re-ordered so did so for a third time with express delivery…you guessed it 4 days later it still has not arrived. What has happened to IKEA ..used to be so efficient.
