iFixit makes it all very easy for anyone!
The thought that went into this kit is excellent, which made battery replacement easy and stress free. Just take your time, read all the instructions and checkout the videos.

I bought a screen replacement kit for a Pixel 6a. The screen is good, and I replaced it quickly. The screen is high-quality; it's the original. However, when I tried to calibrate the fingerprint scanner using the Google website, I received information that my phone had a newer software version than the Windows website itself, and that I should install the older version on the Pixel to calibrate the fingerprint sensor or hope for an update to the Windows software. The iFixit website has a very poor feedback system, and there's no way to find out when the Google Windows software will be updated. So, I don't have a fingerprint sensor, which is very frustrating, as I spent the same amount on the replacement kit as I could have bought a used Pixel 6a for. I didn't use the iFixit tools, as replacing the 6a screen only requires tweezers and a suction cup. I don't regret buying the tools; they're high-quality, and I think they'll come in handy.

I will not be buying iFixit products again.
I ordered items worth about 600 NOK and paid around 100 NOK for shipping. However, because they shipped with UPS, I was later charged an additional 360 NOK in fees. In the end, the extra charges were higher than the shipping cost itself.While it may technically be mentioned somewhere in their shipping policy that UPS can add brokerage or import fees, this should be clearly stated during checkout. Customers should know the full cost before placing an order.It would have been much better if taxes and import costs were included at checkout instead of leaving customers to deal with unexpected fees later.2 stars because the items themselves were okay.I would recommend that iFixit clearly show all potential import costs during checkout or use shipping methods that do not surprise customers with additional fees.
