SubjectIncompatibility of Honor Devices with Microsoft Company Portal / Outlook

Subject: Formal Complaint – Incompatibility of Honor Devices with Microsoft Company Portal / OutlookI recently purchased multiple devices from Honor:Honor Magic V3 – Order #85050043027Honor Pad 9 – Order #85070063212Honor Pad 9 – Order #85070048653Honor Magic 6 Lite – Order #85170081712Honor Pad V9 – Order #203-9443284-9689905 (Amazon)Unfortunately, my experience with these devices has been extremely disappointing. My primary concern is that these devices are not compatible with Microsoft enterprise services, particularly Microsoft Outlook when used alongside Microsoft Intune Company Portal. This makes them unsuitable for professional use. After extensive research, I discovered that several of these devices (including the Magic V3, Pad 9, and Pad V9) are not listed as Android Enterprise Recommended devices, which is a key requirement for secure corporate environments. Devices lacking this certification may face limited compatibility with enterprise features and device management policies.Additionally, I found multiple reports from other users experiencing the same issue. For example, users report that Outlook may initially work but then stops syncing and displays “sign-in failed”, with IT departments confirming device-level incompatibility or lack of support. There are also repeated complaints that Microsoft apps such as Outlook, Teams, and Edge either:fail to sign in,repeatedly sign users out, orstop syncing after a short period. These are not isolated incidents but appear to be a widespread compatibility problem affecting Honor devices, particularly in enterprise-managed environments. To make matters worse, when I contacted customer support, the agent was unhelpful and dismissive, ultimately redirecting me to Microsoft rather than taking responsibility for a clear product limitation.Summary of Issues:Lack of Android Enterprise certification for key devicesIncompatibility with Microsoft Company Portal and OutlookPersistent login and syncing failuresWidespread reports of similar issues from other usersPoor and unprofessional customer support experienceSee less

Love Honor but there are flaws!

Ok, first of all, I am a fan of Honor, previously had Huawei devices and when they were banned from Google Services, the next best thing was Honor.I've had the Honor View 20, Magic 5 Pro, currently have the Magic V3 and just bought a Magic Pad 2 (refurb).Honestly, I think they have great build and software, so why the three star review????On the Honor website, if you leave a glowing review they post it, but if you leave anything less then they don't, which is just misleading and petty. In my case, I left a positive review but made a recommendation that they need secure biometrics on their tablets because none of their tablets have it, not even their £500 flagships. They didn't post my review and its just so petty! If Honor really want to compete with the big boys, they need to take on honest feedback and act upon it.Plenty of bad reviews on here about their CS, I've not had to use them, so can't comment on how bad they are, but I don't doubt the experiences stated.

Beware of misleading offers

I ordered the new Magic Pad 4 on release day. Usual mass of offers with it including free keyboard and pencil. When it arrived every thing was fine EXCEPT missing the above. Phoned customer services. They said I had ordered the wrong item, and I should have ordered a Pad that cost £50 more to get the free items. I said if you have to pay £50, they are not free. Offered £30 voucher, which didn't work when attempted to use it. 6 days later, no sign of any progress with Honor. Lovely tablet, misleading false advertising of offers, poor customer services response. If in doubt, order by phone, ask about ALL the deals you think it comes with and take the name of the person you talk to.UPDATE: Customer services behaving like AI (without the I) repeatedly sending screenshots re WiFi range to " prove" their point re deals. However, the £30 off voucher got me a keyboard for £50, which I'm not happy about but I didn't want the tablet without. I'm extremely unimpressed by their customer services and programmed moron personae. Just make sure you get a team of lawyers to analyse the small print before buying from Honor.

Fake offers to get you to buy their phones

Appalling company to deal with. Purchased a Magic 8 Pro early January with a promise of a free tech bundle. 2 months later I'm still waiting to hear anything about whether my claim has been validated. Every member of customer services give different stories, their Terms & Conditions specify they're shipped 21 days after validation but they prefer to go by the 45 days mentioned in the FAQs. Nobody has yet received these, on the admission of customer services, and there is no news about when anyone will get them. Would never ever deal with this company again.

Happy about product and would definitely buy again.

This morning after my Honor MagicPad has updated to Android 16 I was thinking that I am really pleased and happy about Honor devices. I had Samsung then moved to OnePlus and then moved to Honor Magic 7 Pro phone and tablet. Bought as a bundle also received 100w charger and wireless charger which is also very powerful i think is 80W. The sound quality from both devices are very good and can be very oud. Picture quality are very nice. Have recommended to my causing which is heppy too.

Brought a Honor 400 pro in the UK

Brought a Honor 400 pro in the UK. Software felt good. The glass over the camera cracked just like that after the phone fell off the table on to a carpeted floor. It had the protective cover brought from Honor as well. The phone is not designed to withstand a small impact. Warranty not covered as it's a physical damage. Think twice if you are a casual user or else carry the phone in a pillowed case.

I contacted Honor support via my Honor…

I contacted Honor support via my Honor phone asking why the system build in app FM Radio do not work when I follow their instruction to have a USB c for audio jack connect and it do not work. The support asked me to provided them a video recording and I need to have another audio to test. I found that this is unreasonable and only adding problems to customer but not direct helping customer to sort out the problem. Finally, I may found the answer, The Honor lite 400 model does not support FM radio hardware, so the app will not function.I do not know why the Honor support could not tell me directly if this is the case?

Missing MagicPad2 and terrible customer service!

I ordered a MagicPad2 on Tuesday 24th February from Honor. On Thursday I received a free Bluetooth Keyboard but no MagicPad2.On notifying them, they asked for photos of the box, contents etc which i supplied. They said they will carry out an investigation. I contacted the police and supplied them with a police report. It is now March 05th and I still have not received my item. Will ask for a refund tomorrow. Morale of the story is to AVOID Honor. The customer service is terrible, some emails you receive back from them are generic.
