I’ve been trying out HelloFresh meals
I’ve been trying out HelloFresh meals, and while the concept is super convenient, I have mixed feelings about the overall experience.First, I love how easy everything is. The recipes are simple to follow, ingredients come pre-portioned, and it definitely takes the stress out of deciding what to cook. It’s a great option if you want quick, structured meals without too much thinking.However, when it comes to the food itself, I do feel like the meals are a bit under-seasoned. The spice packets provided are very minimal, and most dishes could really benefit from more seasoning—especially powdered spices like garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, or even a little heat. If you enjoy bold, flavorful meals, you’ll probably find yourself adding your own twist (I definitely did!).The ingredients are fresh, and the meals look great once plated, but flavor-wise, they often feel like a base that needs building on.Overall, HelloFresh is perfect for convenience and beginner-friendly cooking, but if you love rich, well-seasoned food, be prepared to step in and elevate the flavors yourself.Rating: 3.5/5 ⭐Great for ease, but could definitely level up in seasoning.

My orders have had wrong or spoiled…
My orders have had wrong or spoiled ingredients almost every time, and my last two boxes have been delivered to the wrong address. One I was able to retrieve, but the other I was not. I will be cancelling my service.

The meals were interesting and my husband and I both enjoyed them. Unfortunately, our kids weren’t big fans. And they weren’t quite as easy to assemble as I would have liked.

Not great quality
I ordered a Caesar salad kit. All the lettuce in the bag was brown and gross. I had to throw it away. I did let hello fresh know - but have not received anything about compensation for it. Also was grossed out by a pack of diced chicken last week. It had several pieces in the pack that I thought were gross and not edible. I like lean chicken breast and expect a good quality. I did not get that.
