Shipped guitar that was obviously damaged. Promised replacement next day, nothing. Reporting to PayPal as well as filing small claims. Absolutely horrendous experience. Never do business with these crooks

I placed an online order for an item that was supposed to be in stock in my local store. The confirmation email said that it should be ready to be picked up in two hours, but that I would be notified when it was ready. We went out to eat at a restaurant that was near this Guitar Center location and headed to the store after we ate, arriving just a few minutes before two hours from the time I had ordered. I had not yet received notification that it was ready, but I went on in and someone checked and said that they had two in stock. They want to get it and came back empty-handed. They asked someone for keys, then went back and looked again. Once again they came out empty-handed and I heard the other person say that they would get it figured out. That person went to look, came out empty-handed and said something to the first person. That person then informed me that they only had one in stock, that it was the display and they couldn’t sell that. He said they can order one and I could pick it up in 3 to 5 days or we could cancel the order, and I could re-order and have it delivered to my home. I went ahead and told them to order and now I have to go back again. Had I not used a Guitar Center gift card on it, I would have canceled and ordered it from somewhere else.

I recently purchased a guitar at the Guitar Center in Greenville SC. When I realized I had mistakenly ordered the wrong series guitar model I tried to correct my mistake but the guitar had already been shipped. I contacted Troy the store Manager and explained the situation. Troy was able to arrange the return of the guitar in transit, and was able to have the guitar I wanted (and needed for an upcoming gig) delivered to the store the next day. Very disapointed with my used amplifier purchase. Listed as "excellent condition" but arrived with broken parts, unoriginal speaker, overall "average" condition. Will return to my local Guitar Center store later this week.

I ordered a DJ controller but received the wrong item instead. Unfortunately, this is my second frustrating experience with Guitar Center, and the lack of attention to detail is really disappointing.While I appreciate that I’ll be receiving a full refund, the overall experience has been inconvenient and frustrating. I hope the company improves its order accuracy and customer service moving forward.
