Weekday fine print

I purchased a Japan travel package…
I purchased a Japan travel package through Groupon that was advertised as a 10-day trip including 9 nights of accommodation, flights, and guided excursions. Unfortunately, the experience did not fully match what was promoted in the deal description.The deal stated 9 nights accommodation, however the itinerary we ultimately received only included 8 nights. While the itinerary was later confirmed before ticketing, the original advertisement clearly presented the package as including 9 nights, which was a key factor in deciding to purchase the deal.There were also several other issues that reduced the overall value of the package:We were required to pay an additional $598 after purchase in order to proceed with booking.Checked baggage was not included, which was an extra cost not obvious from the main deal description.The Osaka open-top bus tour commentary was not understandable, which significantly reduced the value of that activity.The Kyoto tour listed as a “Morning Full Day Tour” turned out to be only a half-day tour, which was confusing based on the wording in the deal.The package was described as an immersive experience with guided highlights, but most days were actually self-guided with optional tours at extra cost.Japan itself was fantastic and we still enjoyed the destination, but the package delivered did not fully align with the expectations created by the Groupon promotion.I raised these issues with Groupon after the trip, however the response was that the merchant confirmed the services were delivered as agreed, so no compensation or refund was provided.My advice to anyone considering travel deals through Groupon is to read the fine print very carefully and clarify all inclusions before booking, as the headline description may not reflect the full details of the itinerary.

Exceptional Dining Experience
As soon as you walked into the restaurant, the ambience and atmosphere felt as if you were in Italy. The warm and friendly staff were exceptionally accommodating. The meals were absolutely excellent and there was very little waiting time between ordering and having our meals served to us. The service from the waiters and waitresses was absolutely exemplary. Huge compliments to the chefs and waitresses for a very enjoyable evening. I would, without a doubt, highly recommend La Dolce Vita, to everyone.

My wife purchased tickets through…
My wife purchased tickets through Groupon and when we went to book with the company they said there is a problem with the Groupon ticket. As they cannot get the money from Groupon they can't let us on the tour. Goto the Groupon website and there are no contact phone numbers. Tour group trying to help us out.

You have to pay for their mistake
I have bought a coupon for going to dreamworld with my friends yesterday. As I bought it as a guest and have not received the coupon, as wasn’t able to resend. I was going to the park yesterday, because it was my last day in Gold coast, so I had to buy a new coupon. Before buying it I have tried to contact them, but they don’t have a live chat. Sent an email explaining the situation, since not receiving the coupon was not my fault. The next day only they replied, and they said they cannot do anything. Even though it is not my fault they said I need to keep the useless coupon (I don’t live in Australia) and no refund and cancelation of the unused coupon can be done. So I pay for their mistake.
