Have used Groupon many times over the…

Have used Groupon many times over the years. I use it selectively to "test" new providers, but have found some great services through the site. There have been a few problems over the years and Groupon has made it right very quickly – great customer service! *Read the reviews carefully for each deal. They provider vary quite a bit.

Bait and switch

I looked up Coupon for Henrietta NY eyelashes, a discount was being offered, I got a deal buying a gift card for my niece. After paying by card the confirmation came up stating it was in Phoenix AZ. Then there us NO WAY for me to contact groupon! There questions and answer section was unhelpful, when I kept trying different ways to get customer service there is none. What????? I keep trying on groupon site and find a use the chat bot.... there is none????? This has been a horrible experience.

Groupon is a joke

Groupon is a joke. I purchased a ride wristband for my daughter for Belmont Park. I emailed it to her but, when she tried to open it I kept giving her an error code. When she finally got the email to open it says that the Groupon was redeemed. Now they refuse to give a refund. There is no customer service number because they know they’re scamming people.

I purchase a FTD.com for flowers and paid $60 then went I went to look they tried to charge me $24.99 extra for delivery so I tried to cancel within 20 minutes and GROUPON now has an AI Customer service that goes in loops and keeps telling me I bought the item more than 3 days ago. NEVER BUYING ANYTHING FROM GROUPON AGAIN.

Refund promised but never processed – extremely poor customer service

I had a very disappointing experience with Groupon.I purchased a deal on 2 February 2026 for a restaurant in Leicester Square. Within the first week, I contacted customer service to request a refund to my original payment method, as the deal was not suitable for my family (children were not allowed). I was clearly told that the booking would be cancelled and a refund would be issued.However, the refund never arrived.In March, I contacted customer service again and was told the case would be escalated and resolved within 24 hours. This never happened. I followed up at least five times in total, and each time I received the same response: “we will escalate this” — but no action, no confirmation, and no refund.I also requested to raise a formal complaint, but this was completely ignored.It has now been over two months since purchase, and despite being promised a refund, nothing has been processed. The lack of accountability and the inability to access a proper complaint process is extremely frustrating.This is by far the worst customer service experience I have had. I will not be using Groupon again.I am now escalating this matter through my payment provider.

Paid for golf lessons with Dave Bayko.

Paid for golf lessons. Instructor's reason for missing the lesson was he had the wrong day despite text message confirming the date. Then he cancelled the rescheduled lesson. Called Groupon support because I was uncomfortable and this individual was not earning my trust. Dave Bayko approved refund my money, but the refund had to come from Groupon. Groupon would not refund my money stating the 3 day refund period had passed, which makes no sense because I had to wait more than 3 days to get the first meeting lesson. After 1:5 hours trying to resolve this Groupon "manager" Sureswari Singhdeo asked for evidence, which was provided and went dark. Very poor support and I am out $80. Done with Groupon.

Great Miami Tour

The Miami 5 in 1 tour was 3 1/2 hours in 14 passenger air conditioned van. The guide was excellent since he was born and grew up in Miami. He was a good driver and made the tour fun.

Absolutely a scam on the Sam’s…

Absolutely a scam on the Sam’s membership renewal, nothing list about you need to be a new member, they took my $60 and can’t get ahold of anyone, trying to get a hold of another way to get my money back
