Ordered a game online. I paid for 1-3 day shipping. It's on the 5th day. Saying it was delivered and got get in contact with anyone. I will never make the mistake of ordering from a company but can't even ship a simple game. Biggest waste of money.

Do not order from this place. I placed a pre-order for a gift. One order for $63.58. What did they do? They billed me 5 times that amount. I called to get my money back. Of course they say they re busy, leave your number and they will call you back and you will keep your space in line. NO CALL BACK! So I called back, pissed of course and explain the situation and, of course all they could say is there was a glitch in the system and I should get my money back in about 48 hours. Damn it, they know the problem, they know they owe me, put the damn money back into my account. I HAVE BILLS TO PAY NOW!!!!! This is my first time ordering from Game Stop and you bet your sweet ass this will be my last.

The employees are always great but the company has turned in to the most expensive outlet to buy from. They have changed their pricing once again on TCG products to exploit parents and people who don’t know any better, they are worse than scalpers. Honestly wish certain distributors would pull their stock for being so blatantly overpriced. Honestly awful, a year ago you were a good store to shop at, had weekly drops, and had good prices. Now? Awful. Don’t buy any TCG from here, additionally games are cheaper online, this store deserves to go out of business for what they are currently doing.

Ordered and paid for a game today that said it was available and when I got there (15 miles away) they said they were holding it for someone else I informed them I already paid for it and was told well we apologize just cancel your order and I know this may not seem like a big deal but having cancer and being exhausted and in pain 24/7 I have found some solace in video games and it’s just not right to have it available on your site and let someone pay for it only to tell them they can not have it this is a flaw in their system and the fact they may apologize but there is no sincerity is just a major let down also when I called the company they were rude and very broken English and would only repeat the same answer every time. Just frustrating and I have had a GameStop membership for years and now won’t do business with them again.

A couple of weeks ago I went to make a purchase on the GameStop website with my GameStop Pro Credit Card. When I clicked make purchase a message came up saying that payment could not be submitted. I logged in to my GameStop Pro Credit Card account and it showed that the purchase went through. I called customer service and all they did was transfer me to the Purchasing department. When I told them what happened they said it was a problem with the credit card side and not the GameStop website and they suggested I call the Credit Card customer service, which is the department that transferred me in the first place. I decided to give it some time and it eventually was credited back to my account and I thought, okay cool. I tried to make another purchase this morning and the same thing happened. I called customer service and they did the exact same thing with transferring me and it had the exact same results. I have cancelled my GameStop Pro account as well as my GameStop Pro Credit Card. I will never purchase with GameStop again.

Went with one star since I can’t give “0” stars. Orders a pro controller online, and it was stated delivered by USPS but they either delivered to the wrong address or the mail carrier saw where the item was coming from and kept it. Either way, I never received. Asked for a refund, and they basically said that it’s not their problem and won’t do anything about it. It has me fuming from the lack of care for their department. At least offer to ship me a new one.

Worked my tail off all year to be able to spend money on a gaming system. I called into the store when my tax return arrived, and asked if they had any PS5 Pro’s in stock, they said yes, they had new, used or refurbished. I told them I would be down in about an hour to purchase one. When I got down there, I was greeted by a younger kid, who seemed to think he was bright enough to pull a fast one on me by bringing me out a damaged, already packaged system, not opening the box or showing it to me(mind you, I spent over $700 dollars, most folks would want to see what they were purchasing. He brought it out from the back, had this dorky grin on his face, and held it out in front of him, like “here it is!” as if I wouldn’t ask to see it out of the package. I felt he was attempting to purposely conceal the fact he was pushing a broken system onto me. I purposely did not ask him to open the box. The older employees were looking over at him nervously, as if they had trained him to push these damaged products to folks, and this was his time to shine. He was so ready to get me out the door that he forgot to mention all the things the console came with. 60 seconds after I made the purchase and stepped away, I poked my head back in the store and noticed he was hoping to be done with the encounter, I said oh hey, by the way man, this come with a controller and hdmi cable? He smirked, and said “yeah, should all be in there!” Got the console home, took it out of the box, first thing I noticed was the hdmi port was off centered, meaning it was broken. I plugged it in, and it works, but if it’s bumped even slightly it has to reconnect and goes black screen. I was going to bring it back the very next day, but didn’t have time or the energy, and instead, figured I’d write a review of the shady practices this location of gamestop has been known for, and is clearly still in the business off. Steer clear of this place, the people are fake, don’t care about real gamers or real people who spend their hard earned money on something that they want to bring them joy. They ruined my experience. My console works, but it’s clearly damaged. I paid for a used, not a refurbished, I guess this means they can charge me $60 dollars less than the full priced brand new one, but pedal me a broken console that will need a new hdmi port($200 repair). Absolute clowns. I’ll be sure to stop by and give them a piece of my mind next time I’m in the neighborhood. If they’re still in business that is. Bad things happen to bad folks, just remember washington square Gamestop. That karma is a comin’

Dont ever pre-order a digital code from this place. They cannot even distribute a digital product on time. Almost 48 hours after the game released still no code just "in process" how pathetic. I imagine distributing digital codes is alot easier than shipping to thousands of stores all over the country but they cannot even do that. Useless company

If I could give them -5 I would. I am glad their stores are closing. They sell over priced, ripped off customers with trade in and buying.
