I’ve used FreightQuote twice. My first shipment went smoothly.The second shipment was with a different carrier and the experience was completely different. The driver’s behavior during pickup was aggressive and verbally confrontational to the point that I felt unsafe at my own pickup location. The interaction was serious enough that I considered calling the police, and the entire incident was captured on video.What was most disappointing was FreightQuote’s response afterward. They acknowledged the driver’s conduct was unacceptable, the final resolution was simply that the incident would be documented internally with the carrier. No meaningful remedy or accountability was offered despite the seriousness of the situation.

I was using them on a regular basis and now their model seems to be"bait and switch". Even though I gave them 113 shipments, they continue to assess weird fees in order to increase their revenueThe current "adjustment charge" was for a shipment that I paid for a liftgate fee. Even though it does not make one iota of sense, in order to assess an arbitrary fee, they deducted the liftgate fee and then added it back and then added a $64.28 in fees for this.

The company they contacted with to ship our equipment claimed that someone from our company said there was no pickup. Why would we have done that? My colleague waited all day and no pickup. Then today the freightquote company told me we need to put in a new order since it was canceled.

I do believe this is why they use Trustpilot, cuz nobody uses it or reads them. So yes, I do believe this is a waste of my time. They (FedEx)tried to say my weight was 170# off, and trying to charge for the whole 170# like I paid nothing to begin with.

🚨 Warning to Businesses 🚨My experience with Freight Quote and XPO Logistics has been nothing short of a scam.They recklessly damaged one of my pallets in transit.15 cases of product vanished—never delivered.After I had already paid my bill ($1,400), they slapped on an “adjustment” of $1,800 with zero justification.This isn’t customer service. This isn’t logistics. It’s robbery dressed up as an invoice.Freight Quote and XPO operate like a mob: no accountability, no ethics, no respect for their customers. If you value your money, your product, and your sanity—stay far away.Businesses deserve better than dealing with a bunch of thieves without scruple

They will quote you the lowest price, after your shipment has been delivered for over a week they will send you a revised bill for 25% more than what you where quoted and paid. When you call you will will be put on hold indefinitely.

My order was cancelled right away which they confirmed and said my refund would be processed, but 3 months later and many phone calls (+ countless excuses), I still don't have my refund. Every time I called the agent was nice and confirmed that my order still needed refunded, but the excuse every time was "the manager has emailed the billing department but they're not getting back to her, but she will be in touch asap", and of course I never received one message/call from anybody. Only way to get my money back eventually was to dispute the charge with the bank. Terrible experience and business practices!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Freight Quote used to be a workable solution for LTL shipping for small businesses shipping the occasional shipment. If you are not shipping with them every day of the week now they have downgraded their service. It is now impossible to reach anyone if you have a problem. They just close down at 4 PM Pacific Coast Time. If there is any problem at the end of the day - when there usually is a problem if there is going to be one with a pick-up - If you are on the West Coast you are f--ked.

AVOID. They take zero responsibility for jobs they book and take payment for.Used them to book a shipment from WA to MA. They paired me with Estes. Estes only delivered 3 of the 4 pallets I shipped. Estes claims they are unable to deliver the last because they don't have the equipment. Why are they accepting jobs if they can't do the job?Estes has tried to pile on additional charges and Freightquote claims they have no power over this. And they claim that "Booking on our website does not guarantee the shipment will be delivered." WTAF? What is their purpose if they don't take any responsibility?Avoid this sham company and Estes as well.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the handling of my recent shipment and the inadequate customer service I have experienced.On January 15, 2025, I scheduled a shipment through Freightquote.com, which was picked up from the warehouse on January 16. Unfortunately, due to the carrier's inability to deliver the pallet to the originally designated location on time, I promptly contacted your customer service team to update the delivery address.On Friday, January 17, I informed your customer service team about the issue. I was told that Freightquote.com needed to contact the carrier to obtain a quote for the address change. On Monday morning, I followed up again and was informed that I would receive a response within 24 to 48 hours. However, as of today, January 28, I have yet to receive any communication or resolution from your team.This is entirely unacceptable, and it is not the first time I have encountered such issues with your services. Your customer service team has consistently failed to address problems in a timely and professional manner. They repeatedly delay responses and seem unable to escalate matters to the appropriate departments.The lack of communication and accountability is alarming, especially when dealing with time-sensitive shipments. Your company's failure to deliver shipments as promised and the unresponsiveness of your customer service team severely undermines trust in your services.I demand a thorough explanation of the delays and inaction regarding my case, as well as a resolution to the issue. Additionally, I request that you review your internal processes to ensure that no other customers experience such frustration in the future.Please respond to this email within 5 business days with a detailed resolution plan.
