Sides with Untrustworthy Sellers
Just so fed up with Ebay . Item was described as new , but with outer box taped up . Item arrived and upon opening up , smelt an electrical burnt smell . Massive hole where someone ( who had no clue how to wire up ) put the wrong wire into terminal and melted the plastic and surrounding area . The RCD faceplate was just an ordinary twin socket with brown sunlight faded but not where plugs had been inserted . Gave negative feedback along with several pictures of the item . Upon looking at sellers feedback a day later . My feedback had been removed also the pictures. Contacted Ebay and they sided with the unreputable seller . What is the point of feedback , if it gets removed , all because the seller asks to get it removed . Had enough of that .Decided to close my account . It is not worth my time spending money , waiting for item/s to arrive and only to find no good . I am now just buying from reputable well known stores for a little more and getting better service and knowing that what I pay for . I will get

My experience with eBay was extremely frustrating. I ordered a pair of headphones and waited 8 days, but the seller never shipped the item or responded to any of my messages.I then attempted to contact customer support, which turned out to be very disappointing. There is no clear way to reach a representative—no direct contact number or email—and the automated system was not helpful in resolving my issue.Although I eventually received a refund, the entire process took 17 days, including additional waiting time after raising a request. There were also no updates provided during this period, which made the experience even more frustrating.Additionally, the app itself is unreliable. When attempting to check updates or raise requests, it sometimes closes unexpectedly without completing the action.I am also concerned about seller credibility, as I noticed the same product listed by multiple sellers using identical images, which suggests the possibility of scams.Overall, this experience highlighted significant issues with customer support, app reliability, and seller verification. Compared to other platforms like Amazon, eBay still has considerable room for improvement.

eBay is going downhill and the seller rating is disingenuous!
I had excellent service from eBay for most of 20 years and have made thousands of purchases during that time but eBay is noticeable changing for the worse. SO disappointing!The "100% positive" feedback rating of sellers is simply disingenuous! Neutral feedback which is not "positive' is counted as 'positive'! "Neutral" is not positive and many eBay purchasers use 'Neutral' as they are nervous about submitting "Negative". Why? Because the seller knows the buyer's address but the buyer doesn't know the seller's address. Ebay needs to do something about this! They are losing me as a faithful customer due to two disappointing experiences in the last month.

WHAT A JOKE
eBay sponsor the worst delivery company in the Country EVRI as one of their preferred couriers under their STUPID SIMPLE DELIVERY SYSTEM and then when EVRI deliver my parcel to the wrong address (proof by photo of delivery showing a totally different place to my porch which is shown in photos where correct delivery was made by Evri or RM) they refuse to compensate me by refund. They have the cheek to tell me that a photo shows the parcel was delivered and to go and search for it around my area. WHAT A BLOODY CHEEK. EVRI are just as bad, they told me if I can't find the parcel to take it up with the seller but this I refuse to do as she was forced to use eBay simple delivery which clearly states that once the parcel has been posted eBay take responsibility for its delivery. THIS PURCHASE COST ME £20 BUT IT COULD JUST AS EASILY BEEN A £200 PURCHASE. OUTRAGEOUS. WHAT A JOKE.

Bait and Switch?
Had to order the same part for my car from different sellers and each time was sent cheaper items that didn't match the description. Happened too many times to be simply a mistake. Why does Ebay allow these people to sell on the site?

What liars eBay are about selling for free
I am truly quite shocked after spending so much time uploading and detailing items on eBay and all their advertising around selling for free, it's hardly been free on any item I have sold, not only is the buyer paying I'm then also paying a percentage for the poxy amount i am making, just now I also paid for a postage label which the customer also paid for. Such scammers.

Ebay don't care
After having to pay for the postage of my sold item due to Ebay's simple delivery service being totally wrong, I now have to wait for 21 days to release funds. Mohammed in customer service all but laughed at the situation and excepted Ebay were at fault but nothing can be done and didn't care. Total joke and can see why everyone is leaving the platform.

After using EBay for years with no…
After using EBay for years with no problems, but for last few months sellers state to send Royal Mail, I messaged them must be Royal Mail due to bad access, they then sent by other cheaper companies. No communication with sellers, just get ignored. EBay did not help at all. They should vet these companies. Very disappointed, I have closed my account. Will never use EBay again.

Ebay: no help from them any more
Ebay carry listings for sellers who have ceased trading and carry no stock. This is a scam. If you do manage to contact Ebay - which itself is very difficult - they are unhelpful.They used to be more open and upfront. Now they hide behind their obuse "bot" which makes rasing issues well nigh impossible.

No goods, no refund: that's Ebay for you nowadays
I ordered an item and it was not even dispatched by the seller who is no longer trading. Ebay, who are almost impossible to contact because their 'BoT' makes assumptions and then dismisses you, are making it almost impossible for me to get either the item or the refund. When I did eventually get to speak to someone they were totally unhelpful.
