Good Buy
I have bought several refurbished tools from CPO Outlets. I purchased a compound miter saw that I could not remove the bolt holding the blade on the saw to change the blade. It appears it was put on with an impact wrench. I returned the saw to CPO and quickly received a refund. I then purchased another miter saw of the same model.

I'd avoid them on eBay, maybe everywhere.
Prices are good, Makita drill/driver kit came looking pretty much like brand new, I think the batteries were new, or at least re-cased, but the packaging was terrible, just tools thrown bare in the bottom of a box and a strip of packing paper thrown on top. Accessory hardware split out of it's bag everywhere, thankfully they were still in there, but the trigger was broken off the drill. I believe these came directly from Makita without them packaging or checking, but still, CPO is the seller and this is ultimately their liability. Initial support was responsive, about half a day, told I can ship it out or take it somewhere for repair, which would likely take weeks, or return it and repurchase it, which they said they'd help with. I needed the tools, so I opted to reorder and asked for help, didn't hear back that day and the price jumped up 17%, so I grabbed it before it went up more. I asked if they could match the original sale price, which I think is a reasonable request given that it was their negligent packaging that caused the issue, was told they can't do anything on eBay prices, so I had to eat the difference. I was then was given a laundry list of requirements to ship it back to get my refund: send a picture of the damage to get a RPO code, print out the invoice and put it in the box with the RPO code on it, write the RPO code on the box, print and attach the label (who owns a printer anymore?) And the kicker, a paragraph about how to properly package and ship the items back to avoid further damages, so I sent it back in much better packaging than it was sent. To be clear, I don't think this process is burdensome for something I damaged or wanted to return for my own reasons, I just think the whole response and process and refusal to price match the original price is bs for an item that came damaged because of their own awful packaging. I think they'd probably be better to deal with if not going through eBay, but I can only assume it's the same hassle with the awful packaging and having to reorder and do the whole return headache, but at least they might give you the sale price when you reorder.

Refuse to stand behind their products
Bought a refurbished tool power tool from them, came with an Allstate warranty. I didn't need it when first purchased it, but when I got it out to use, it would not function. They would not return or exchange because it was past their return window, Allstate would not cover it because it never worked from new, and to go back to purchaser! I now have to go through the hassle of returning it to the manufacturer for warranty and will probably have to pay out of pocket for shipping and repair. They should have stepped up and replaced or refunded. If a company won't stand behind what they sell, I will never do business with them again.

Excellent Experience
Over the years I have purchased several reconditioned Dewalt 20V tools. Great pricing and all arrived promptly and were in like new condition. I also made one purchase by mistake that I returned. Excellent Cistomer Service provided a free return UPS label even though it was my error. Much appreciated and highly recommended.

Less than a star
Less than a star. This is a trash company that collects money from customers and doesn't honor if your product gets to you. They refer you to the manufacture if something isn't in the box when you get it. There is no assistance no making it right. Buy from anyone else but CPO Outlets.

Ordered the incorrect item.... missed the cancel the order window. Returning the item was painless. CPO promptly refunded all the charges on my CC. Looking forward to my next purchase w/ CPO

Product not as advertised
You advertised the product I bought inappropriately. The item title didn't accurately describe the items contained. Additionally, one of the items contained was the wrong model. And because you don't have consistent stock of these items there was no way for you to replace the single item. I would have to return the entire kit and you didn't have a replacement for that either. Very frustrating considering the time I spent looking for the right product at the right price.

CPO has a great selection of products
CPO has a great selection of products, with reasonable prices. Their delivery is always fast. Plus their active notifications of pending delivery status are very much appreciated. Almost everything I buy is "Reconditioned" so I appreciate their offering of such products. Out of maybe 20 items I have purchased over the years, only one had a defect that made it distinguishable from a perfect brand new item. That defect was cosmetic so I figured I could live with it since it was "Reconditioned". CPO is my primary power tool provider. I'll keep buying from them as long as I still have room left in my workshop for another tool.
