Buyer beware this is a fraud company

Buyer beware this is a fraud company, selling fraud and counterfeit frames. Their customer service is also non existent and a scam. Ordered a brand name frame with prescription lenses which arrived broken and shattered. Sent pictures of the shatter and broken frame and lenses to CoolFrames and was promised a new pair to be sent out asap. A month later only a replacement frame arrived without the prescription lenses. Customer service was not compliant and refused to refund. Don't buy anything from these scammers!

Great customer service of Cool Frames.

The customer service of Cool Frames went beyond the call of duty to rectify a problem I caused. I made a mistake with the shipping address and the glasses were returned. They had the glasses overnighted to the correct address.

Bought some Converse frames for my son…

Bought some Converse frames for my son did my homework made sure they were the correct frames when I got the frame frames and tried to put the lenses in the frames snapped tried to call cool frames and let them know. I had to go get glasses elsewhere they told me they would not refund my money, but would let me get another pair of glasses. I would not buy anything from this company.

Excellent customer service

Louise was excellent! The manufacturer had an unexpected delay in getting my order to cool frames. Louise went above and beyond in tracking down the issue, even scheduling a return call after doing some investigating to inform me of what caused the shipping delay, and what they would be doing to correct it. Even though the manufactures delay will cause everything to take twice as long as I had hoped, I would still buy from coolframe again simply because of this experience with their customer service team.

Cool Frames took my order, then updated me on status routinely. It was seamless and I just waited for the finished product to arrive. They were are perfect.

DO NOT BUY from these scammers

They have a great selection and great pricing - but they are TRASH. I ordered from them for the first time two years back and had great customer service - no real notable issues. I re ordered THE SAME TWO PAIRS of glasses on November 13 - the prices have increased, even with their HUGE Black Friday sales - which is fine, but find it interesting that it was a significant increase. I ordered regular glasses and sunglasses, both with prescriptions. Received them on December 1st. Fast shipping - win. They were wrong, and broken as well as poorly put together. I had to pay $10 shipping to send them back immediately. 12/24 - Got the replacements - still broken and still not right - sent them back same day - they sent the label this time. They were delivered to Cool Frames on 1/5. They sat "delivered" in processing for 9 days before they sent an email saying they received them. I called numerous times checking to see if they had them, and sat on hold for a minimum of 4+ hours. And EVERY time I was on hold for 45 minutes, the call would drop off and I had to call back AGAIN!1/16 they said I had to pay $49 for their mistake. I refused and fought it. They finally agreed, and they were marked they were sent back out again on 1/19. With no updated tracking number (they used the original one from my first order). So I called to get my NEW tracking number. 4 HOURS AGAIN! I asked to speak to a manager - no one available. Call drops. This continues to go on for DAYS! Finally get my new tracking number. 1/27. I get an email that my glasses were delivered. NOPE. Didn't get them. And they did not ask for a signed delivery (which they do with your first order). I tell them to just give me my money back. I have waited over 2 months and NEED glasses. They said they can NOT do that. And said I have to wait 20 BUSINESS days to "wait out" the USPS delivery process, before they will file a claim. And THEN they investigate. Then after they FINISH their investigation, THEN they will remake my glasses. So I am looking at another 2+ months before I get my glasses. No manager was available - AGAIN.Well, today is day 18 business days. So I emailed them to remind them that 20 days is coming up and I want to make sure they are ready to file the claim. They emailed me back to tell me that they won't do anything until day 20. AND n ow I have to send them a signed letter that I didn't receive them - AND A POLICE REPORT! They are just telling me this now - a month later. Additionally, that once they ship them, if they get lost - they don't reimburse or remake your frames. you have to take it up with the shipping supplier!

Louise saved my opinion about Cool Frames

Louise saved my opinion about Cool Frames. I ordered two pair of non-prescription frames on Dec. 19th and never got an email followup about shipping/delivery status. I called customer service on 1/2/26 and the person assured me they were shipped and would send me an email verifying that info. Crickets - no email. Searched junk, etc. Now it's a week later and no glasses, no email. I called and Louise was so professional, articulate, knowledgeable and kind. He followed up with an email and making sure I received it and gave me the tracking number. The communication with Cool Frames (except for Louise) was very poor compared to other online companies and being on hold when you call is the most annoying I have ever encountered, having to press # to stay online every two seconds.If I had not had the experience with Louise today, I would have cancelled the order if I was able to and never used Cool Frames again. I was lucky to get him when I called Customer Service.
