Care.com was totally instrumental in my career change. I was on care.com literally one day when I was able to set up an interview and 3 days later I was working for my first client ever.Then 3 months later I secured my second client through care.com and I was on my way in establishing my new career as a caregiver. I absolutely would not be where I am today now 3 years into my new career without care.com

I signed up for Care.com to attempt to offer my services for cleaning. Any one who had reached out for my services was a scammer so the site needs better formatted to stop this from happening. I maybe used the site for 1 week and then cancelled. Low and behold a year later I was hit again with a $155 subscription fee. The credit card charge was on 3/29/26 and I reached out to them about 10 days after the charge when I looked at my credit card statement. Apparently it wasn't cancelled out fully (not sure how or why) and they will not offer a refund due to it being membership fees and they offer no refunds for these. Most subscriptions I deal with (Amazon, hulu, netflix, quickbooks, microsoft 365, my fitness pal app, all trails- the list goes on) all send you a reminder e-mail that your renewal is coming up and your card will be charged, Care.com DOES NOT. They send no reminder, no e-mail, nothing and just hit your card so as once it is charged, they state they can no longer refund it. I have now reached out through the customer chat and was denied, started a new chat/case and called them directly. Upon calling I was told that they had no supervisor there when I asked to speak with one, however when I escalated my discontent all of a sudden they went to "look for the supervisor" even though a minute before there wasn't one there today. They came back to the line and told me they would leave a message and a supervisor would reach out in 24-48 hours, but the supervisor calling me wasn't a guarantee that I would get a refund, and AGAIN reminded me they do not offer them for membership/subscription fees. We will see where this takes me if a supervisor returns my call but they have made it clear it is unlikely.

I can testify that Massey is THE BEST by far. She was given to me as a supervisor, then became my care giver, the company was short handed. She iwas the best worker. I highly recommend her, very trustworthy with everything. I never had to worry about anything, she is a pleasure to be around. You are lucky to have such a wonderful professional lady working or you. I can't do the calendar back for 5 yrs.

Overall this is a great platform to connect client and service provider. It’s affordable and has been well worth the investment for me. I rated 4 stars because of the few technical inconveniences I’ve experienced. Blurring out the phone numbers when sent has been a big challenge for me and ultimately give resulted in more hassle. The app does glitch often as well. But I’ve enjoyed using it and will continue to use it for work.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS. DO NOT USE. We paid $39 for a one month subscription two days ago to find a house cleaner. We paid an additional $7 for our ad to be highlighted. We received NO APPLICATIONS. We then started contacting cleaners and only received one response stating they weren't looking for a cleaner position. No other responses. Tried to sign in this morning and we were FLAGGED AND LOCKED OUT OF OUR ACCOUNT. TOTAL SCAM. Our guess is most of the care givers are old accounts or fake accounts. BEWARE.

This company presumes to start charging your credit card for absolutely nothing!!! And immediately when you ask for a refund and no longer want anything to do with them, you get an automated answer that states “we do not give refunds”!!!! Ridiculous cause there is no explanation of why they immediately charged 180.00 to my credit card and the another 129.47 within a couple of days without any explanations!! I say Buyer beware of this company.

I posted my requirements and in one day i received 7 qualified responses. The woman I hired lives in my zip code within minutes from where i live and has the resume that suited my needs exactly. I am very satisfied with this service provided by care.com

My experience was great because the caregiver arrived early. I scheduled the night before. She was very professional. She had a calm disposition. She followed my directions. She communicated well with me.

I've tried twice on Care. com so this is the last time I'm giving this a shot......... I I thought we were moving in the right direction to have someone hired and in place and then 2 caretakers "no-showed" on us or cancelled the day she was suppose to start she said she needed more $ after an agreed upon price. Tried to relist the job, explaining what happened, and care.com would not relist because they didn't want the truth out there, because it was viewed as negative. Now they wont respond, list, nor refund my monthly fee.

I signed up for the premium service and the same day they closed my account. There is no customer service and they do not provide refunds.
