Butcherbox has amazing quality meat
Butcherbox has amazing quality meat! I love that is is shipped right to my door with no shipping fee. After years of impeccable service......I received one bacon package that had been cut open (it was a slit, so I am sure it was accidental cut with a box opener during packaging or storing). I called customer service and they took care of it right away. I was super impressed with how quickly I got a response!! There was no hassle, just solved the problem! I cannot say enough positive things about Butcherbox. Supermarket meat is subpar once you are used to the high quality they put out.

We've been a customer for 5 years
We've been a customer for 5 years. We've been pleased with almost all of the protein choices. Not big fans of the chicken -- kinda chewy. And they do send a blizzard of emails.

I only did one order and cancelled
I only did one order and cancelled. I found the meat just okay. The seafood not great--the cod bites are gross. Seriously fish fingers taste better. Smash burgers way to greasy. Filet mignon just okay. For the price I expected something better. Glad I was able to cancel after one order. I've sent as a gift before and was hopeful.

Very high quality meat
Very high quality meat, fish, chicken and pork. I don’t like to buy meat from grocery stores due to poor quality and yes, you can see and taste the difference. Only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is due to the occasional torn packaging or a box that looks like it was delivered by Ace Ventura in the beginning of the movie. This is rare though it has happened a couple times in the past 6 years. Nothing better than fully grass fed beef.

Butcher box is the best value period!
Butcher box meats and seafood are always well packaged fresh and delicious. I am able to adjust my box each month by swapping items out, or adjusting the delivery window. Butcher box makes it very easy to have plenty of nutritious protein on hand. I also like the fact that in two years, they have not raised their prices, in spite of the fact that meats and seafoods are more expensive all over the country.

Price is up. Quality is down
I have been a customer for 10+ years. Over time I’m sure the original owners sold out because it keeps getting more expensive while the quality is going down. The meat is now finished with GMO grains. Originally it was grass fed and finished. Their package of bacon is only 10 oz now instead of the custom pound packages. Very disappointed.
