I have had the worst experience with…

I have had the worst experience with Best Buy. I ordered Dec 3. I didn't receive my order until 3/27. I ordered 7pc table set, 2 armless chairs, a sideboard. there was a delay w/the manufacturer, but from the lies I was told along the way has made this an unbearable situation. The 2 chairs that I ordered separately was said to be causing my delay after waiting over 2 mo. I requested to cancel but they wouldn't. They said it would be shipped. I waited for tracking. When I asked about it, I was told it was shipped; the chairs would come later. When I got the order, they delivered 8 armless chairs. I was supposed to receive 6 and 2 arm chairs which was a part of the set. The rep said they didn't sell the side chairs even though it was on the website. That is false advertisement. I didn't want 8 armless chairs. I asked them to come pick them up. They told me to keep them, but I needed my arm chairs to complete my set. I was offered a $200 refund for chairs that would cost me over $400 to buy. I got the refund of $400, but now I still didn't receive my table andsideboard. When I questioned it, he made me feel like I was lying when I said I didn't get it, calling me twice. they finally located it, it wasn't shipped yet. It was supposed to be in on Thursday(again). Then he said the arm chairs were on the order and wanted to charge me $200. Not my fault they lied. When the table, 2 arm chairs/sideboard was delivered, everything had damages. The armchair pin was broken, the sideboard doors & clips were damaged and the wood was chipped. The extension leaf had dents. I refused the sideboard. Said they would order another leaf to replace it. Ive been waiting 6 days for my refund. the salesman only refunded $753 on an item I paid $919. He said it was because I received a discount. My discount was $200 off the entire order, but he took off $166 off the 1 item. They are a ripoff and still owe me $108. My total order was $3189 89 with a $200 discount.

To the Best Buy Executive Resolution Team,I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with a recent purchase experience that involved deceptive delivery promises and a total lack of accountability from your customer service team.On [March 31, 2026], I placed an order for two Bambu machines (an A1 and an A1 Mini) totaling over $600. At the time of purchase, your website explicitly stated that if I ordered within a 15-minute window, both machines would arrive today, [april 1, 2026]. This high-pressure "countdown" was the primary reason I completed the transaction.Despite this "Same Day" promise, I discovered this morning that one machine is delayed until April 15th, even though tracking shows it is currently in Georgia, just one state away from my location in Tennessee. When I called to resolve this, I was met with refusal to escalate to a supervisor and was told there was "nothing they could do." To make matters worse, the other order—which was scheduled for delivery today—was canceled by your team without my consent, and I am now being told my refund will take 5 to 7 business days to process.I am currently out $600 with zero products in hand. This experience constitutes false advertising and a failure to honor the terms of our transaction

I would never again buy from Best Buy…

I would never again buy from Best Buy because THEY ARE DISHONEST. Two years ago I had geeks work on a new computer. At the time, they gave me a free membership. One year later, using my card, they charged me for a renewed membership. My choice was to pay or cancel my card. Today, they charged me again $490, and again I had to cancel my card. That means time letting everyone know I have a new card. STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES.

In-store experience at Oakdale, MN location

I wanted to share a recent experience I had at your Oakdale, MN store on March 12th at approximately 5:32 PM. Unfortunately, the interaction left me quite disappointed.The store was not busy at the time—there was no line, and I actually waited for the employee to finish his conversation with a coworker before approaching the counter. Once his coworker walked away, he began ringing me up. However, even then, there was no greeting, acknowledgment, or basic customer interaction whatsoever.During the transaction, he had previously been quite animated and engaged while speaking with his coworker, which made the contrast even more noticeable. When it came to assisting me, I received no eye contact, no response to my greeting (which I initiated), and no “thank you” at the end of the purchase. It genuinely felt as though I was an interruption rather than a customer.I made an effort to be friendly and polite, but that effort was not reciprocated at all. The lack of basic customer service left me feeling overlooked and unvalued.With the level of competition in retail today, I believe it is especially important for Best Buy to prioritize in-store customer experience. Unfortunately, this visit reinforced a pattern I’ve noticed specifically at the Oakdale location, where the service has consistently felt below expectations.Because of this experience, I am disappointed to say that I will not be returning to this particular store.I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to improve customer service moving forward.

Apple repair, wouldn't follow screen protector promo

Scheduled an Apple repair for in-store service. Was told that they would not install a screen protector for $19.99 as shown on the website and had to pay $29.99 and do it myself. What's the point of advertising it as an option with repair if you don't actually do it?

credit card signup bonus is…

credit card signup bonus is deliberately misleading. every credit card i've ever used in my life before best buy's had rewards signup bonuses that NEVER expire. this is because federal law requires that rewards never expire. best buy sleazily evades this law buy providing gift certificates instead of actual rewards and they expire in TWO months. they don't tell you that during signup and they don't send you the card until several weeks after your purchase. don't reward this dishonest, borderline criminal behavior with your business.

Lack of Customer Service

I have a complaint. For the pass week I have been trying to get my company tax exemption. I went to the store and was told that I have to fill out the form online. I filled out the business account online. This was done March 22nd. I have called and spoke with several people over the phone but they are not able to assist me. What ever happen to customer service. I have a Florida Tax Exemption. I get an e-mail from Best Buy saying that my Tax Exemption has been approve and to sign on to my business account. I sign in and I don't see any information. I call the 1.800 number and they are not able to assist me. Customer Service for a company should not be this difficult. Is it possible I can get some assistant with this matter. Why is this matter seems so difficult? I am taking my business else where. Maybe I will get better service for the 50 computers I want to purchase.

Poor Customer Service With No Follow Through

Purchased a TV in February that included a promotion for a $100 gift e-card. I have yet to receive the e-card. I’ve talked to three people and have been told that the issue has been rectified but I’ve yet to receive it as of late March. Contacting customer service was cumbersome in itself. Virtual AI assistants on live chat and phone are worthless.

Terrible Customer Service

We purchased an LG washer and dryer combo from Best Buy. We also had a five year service contract on both. The washer needed service and I contacted Best Buy customer service and they sent a tech to repair the washer. The tech accidentally put a small dent in the dryer during the washer repair and was honest and told me about it. The selector dial on the dryer had been getting intermittent and I asked about repairing it. He stated when he came back for the dial issue he would replace the top on the dryer. When I called Best Buy for another appointment, I found out they were not sending the same people out to do the repair on the dryer. I told them that the tech that was originally sent was from LG. They told me that they do not use LG and only use the geek squad. They keep telling me that I have to go to LG to repair the dryer top and I have tried to explain to them several times that they sent this tech to my home and the tech told me I have to go through Best Buy. Best Buy sent this company to my home and now they are not only avoiding responsibility for that, they are telling me that I have to contact LG to get the dent in the dryer top repaired. The company is deceptive and evasive.
