100% legit
I ordered a pair of running shoes for the first time from this e-shop and everything went great. The shoes came from Germany to my country fast with DHL and free of charge! I will definitely buy again in the future.

Die Hose war angenehm warm. Die seitlichen Lüftungsreißverschlüsse sind keine Kältebrücke und auf der Haut wegen des recht dicken Futters nicht zu spüren.

Two failed orders and no accountability
I gave Bergfreunde a second chance after a previous order was cancelled due to their internal webshop error and I only received a 10% voucher. My latest order (tracking CH516361221DE) reached Croatia but was returned to sender with ‘unknown recipient’ even though Bergfreunde confirmed in writing that my address on the label and in their system is correct and identical. Croatian Post stated that only the sender can initiate the official inquiry, yet Bergfreunde refused to take responsibility, declined further compensation, and won’t reship until the parcel physically returns. After repeated delays and poor communication, this is no longer acceptable. I will avoid future purchases unless customer care and logistics improve significantly.

Customer Service, Return Costs
Bought many times from this shop and overall they have good stuff and they ship within reasonable times. What I DO hate, is that I have to pay for returns if they have wrong information on their website. These days everything is 'relaxed fit'. The measurements are a total lie half the time. Vaude, Mammut, they all have the wrong sizing up, I buy based on those tables and then it's 1 size too large and I have to pay for shipping.Contacted Bergfreunde twice and got the automated 'how to return' email. Emailed back again....no reply at all. Really pisses me off that they don't advice the sizing at all and I have to keep sending stuff back and pay for it.
