Dropped my phone off for a screen replacement. Was told to pick it up in 2 hours. When my phone was finally repaired 4 hours later I demanded a discount for the delay. The owner told me he would keep my phone or maybe even re-install the cracked screen if I didn't pay in full. So I paid him to get my phone back. He then banned me from his store for life after I informed him of the unflattering review that would be published. I, obviously, will not be going back (ever).

I ordered a replacement key fob for my car on 12/29/25. I was told 10 days to two weeks. It ended up being 32 days. Then, when we went in, they were unable to program it and asked me to come back when the “expert” was in. I went back and the “expert” struggled, but was able to program it. Next, the “expert” cut the emergency key wrong and told me that she would order a new key and it would be 2 more weeks. Next, I waited 15 days and hadn’t heard anything, so I called and was told that the key had never been ordered and that he would order it and it would be another 2 weeks. Next, we went back once it arrived and the guy couldn’t cut it and told us we needed to come back in 2 days when the “expert” was in. I went back and she said they couldn’t do it and I would have to go to a locksmith to get it cut. I asked for a recommendation but, she didn’t have one. She said it should only be about $20. It was $44. This ended up taking over 2 months 10 days and was a total fiasco. These people need to make some changes!

I've been going to Batteries+ in Mt. Juliet, TN for years, and have always had a good experience.I'm posting this review based on my visit today. I needed items that required technical expertise. I was blessed to meet Parker and immediately knew I was in good hands. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Parker answered all my questions and was very patient with me! He's another reason I remain a loyal customer.

So I bought a battery at Batteries + on Burnet Road in Austin. lasted 18 months of the 4 year warranty, dead as a mackerel. I took it in for prorated $$. No they wanted to give me a new battery and I don't want their battery. I have already replaced it because they had to keep it 48 hours to prove it was bad....how was I to get to work?? No store credit no options. Dont buy from here...100 dollar battery isn't worth a bad reputation!

October 2025 I purchased a battery from Batteries Plus location in Schaumburg IL. and on December 2025 the battery died, I have been back and forth with the battery and the manager is the worst with customer service.I contacted the Batteries Plus corporate customer 3 times with a lack of any response. I have posted the situation and Batteries Plus finally responded that they will try to do better. I also have a open formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and it in the process of investigation.Batteries Plus Schaumburg at this time has had my battery for a month. The local manager claimed he has had no knowledge of my problems. However his employees claimed that they have talked in detail of the issue with him.The manager has washed his hands not caring to address this customer issue. Also, I found through conversation the Schaumburg store does not explain the battery warranty, almost hiding it until something happens. Then when a problem occurs they do not want to discuss the situation with the customer. From the the corporate customer desk, I found that buying from a non-corporate store the local manager has all the power. Quoting the service desk, to a point of not wanting to discuss the warranty they should have presented at the day of purchase. This is a terrible situation and I highly recommend not making any purchases from the Schaumburg IL. store.Thank youRobert Repetsky

On Monday, 12/15/25, I purchased two button batteries. When I got them home, I tested them on my battery testerand with a multimeter. One didn't have enough charge to doanything. The other had slightly more. I called the store onWednesday, 12/17/25, and asked if I could exchange or if Icould bring it in and have them test them for me. I was toldthat they could "try" to test them but all they would see wasif it had power not how much charge was present. I was toldthat I could not exchange them because the items have tobe unopened for an exchange. How am I supposed to testor see if a battery works without opening the package?I'm pretty sure that someone from Batteries Plus will respond by stating the policy they have, but here's the thing - this policy removes Batteries Plus and it representatives from any responsibility that the item they distribute in exchange for financial gain actually works. Batteries Plus is in the business of selling batteries. I purchased the batteries with the expectation that they would work. When you have paid for that device with the expectation that itwill perform as expected, particularly when used for itsspecific intent, the purchaser should be compensated when is fails. In other words, I paid for two batteries. Those batteries did notwork from the time I purchased them. Since they did notfunction as promised, I would like a refund or at minimum tobe given an exchange. Unfortunately, I am not confident inthat any battery I get from Batteries Plus would work. Bottom line, buyer be ware. If I could give a negative amount of stars, I would.

I brought a 2-year-old battery (with a 4-year warranty) back to the Mooresville location after removing it from my truck and driving 30 miles to the store. I was told their test would take 24 hours, leaving me with no choice but to buy a new $270 battery. I was also warned the new one couldn’t be returned if installed, putting me in a no-win situation. To avoid losing the return option, I borrowed a car overnight while I waited for the results. When I called the next morning, I was told the test was never done because they “have to remove batteries from chargers overnight.” Instead of acknowledging the misinformation, I was given excuses and dismissive responses. When I expressed concern about being misled, the employee told me he “resented the insinuation” and hung up on me.This was one of the most frustrating and unprofessional customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

This has been the worst warranty experience I have ever had with any retailer. I purchased a vehicle battery from this Batteries Plus location in July 2024 with a 2-year warranty. On Sunday, November 30, I returned to the store because the battery had completely failed, it would not hold a charge overnight under normal use.I received a call back two days later on 12/2/2025, even though I was told someone would call me on 12/1/2025. Instead of honoring the warranty, the store refused to replace the battery because it measured "below 10 volts." That excuse makes absolutely no sense. A battery dropping below proper voltage is the symptom of the failure, not a reason to deny a warranty. That is literally what a warranty is supposed to cover. They then charged the battery for 24 hours to temporarily raise the voltage and attempted to hand it back to me as if that resolved the issue. A battery that cannot hold a charge is defective, period. Any trained battery technician knows this.I even asked, "Are customers supposed to walk around carrying voltmeters to make sure their battery is acceptable before bringing it in for warranty?" No one mentioned that when I purchased it, because such a requirement does not exist. It appears this location simply invented a rule to avoid honoring a valid claim. What makes this even worse is that an employee quietly admitted that corporate in Easley WOULD honor the warranty, which means the store knows the denial was improper. That strongly suggests the problem isn’t corporate policy, it’s this location refusing to process warranty replacements.I left the defective battery at the store and will be pursuing the replacement directly through corporate, since even their own staff acknowledges the store mishandled it.Customers should not be denied valid warranty coverage based on arbitrary conditions that contradict basic battery diagnostics. This store needs serious attention from upper management.

This is the worst place to shop. I took my Samsung S3 in for a battery replacement, and I’m not sure what they did, but after charging, the screen went black. Now they want to charge me for the screen repair. My phone was working fine even with a swollen battery. It seems something happened while they were installing the new battery, which broke my phone. I told that incompetent technician to keep the phone, as it’s not worth spending an extra $200 on the screen. My advice: please stop visiting this shop.

Went for a CR2 battery for a laser. I told the salesman that I wanted the best battery. He said, all batteries all same. LIE 1. I said, I disagree. With an attitude, he had a spiel about brands and led me to the store brand, Nuon. Then I asked if they had a charger for CR2, and he said CR2 are not rechargeable. LIE 2. I told him have one, then he said they won't work. LIE 3. The salesman was very rude to me when I saw them online, He treated like I was an idiot. I reported them to the BBB. If you want honest help, go some else place!
